Raiders tied 10-10 at halftime. Even if they piss it away in the second half, there's a lot of things they can take away from this game. They look FUCKING GREAT. Raider nation making a return?! Haha. I'll have the roster out tomorrow afternoon everybody.

C'mon L.T., I just need two more points from you to win my fantasy matchup this week. Just twenty measly yards.

57 yard pass on a 4th and 15. The Raiders are back in business ladies. :) Anyways, it was an interesting week of football. Huge upset in the 49ers game. Brian Urlacher out. (Sorry 36Holla. That fucking sucks.) McNabb hurt, and if he doesn't play next Sunday, we might see Vick with a start. I'm embarassed as a Raider fan, since they ended up doing so well. I will pick them for every game for the rest of the season. Hope your guys' teams did good. I got bored and did the roster now though, so here you go. Congrats to everyone who isn't me or Crashman. :P

This will probable be right around where I stay too just because I'm not the best at picking games, but I've never fallen under .500 for a season as I doubt any member of the club would actually do.

Yeah, that can't happen since Vick is banned until week 3. McNabb says he will try and start but if he can't the Eagles just signed Jeff Garcia and will play him.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Raiders. I'm not sure if it was first week gitters with the Chargers or Oakland is legit. We'll see how they do when they play the lowly Chiefs.

And with the Patriots; they just got lucky. No doubt about it.

Week 1 Standings

Most Wins This Week:
36Holla, pepeatumi, reverend - 12 Wins

Thanks for the list michelinman. Nice to be on top; hopefully for many more times.

Most Losses This Week:
michelinman, Crashman - 6 Losses

Ouch.

Vikings over Lions
Packers over Bengals
Titans over Texans
Raiders over Chiefs
Patriots over Jets
Saints over Eagles
Redskins over Rams
Jaguars over Cardinals
Seahawks over 49ers
Buccaneers over Bills
Steelers over Bears
Browns over Broncos
Chargers over Ravens
Cowboys over Giants
Colts over Dolphins
Panthers over Falcons (They looked bad last week... but Carolina was one of the best teams in the NFC last year, waaay too early to jump off the bandwagon.)

I put my faith in the underdog this week.

I didn't post any picks here, but I did go 12-4 in my picks last week. I missed the Den-Cin game, the Ari-SF game, the Phi-Car game and the Hou-NYJ game.

"Not just go out there and try to win, try to embarrass them. Try to make them feel bad when they leave here. We don't want to just beat them. We want to send a message to them, 'We're not backing down from you and we expect to win this game, and it's not going to be luck, it's not going to be a mistake.' "

Do you think the Jets are a little too cocky for their own good? I mean they haven't beaten the Pats in forever and all this is all just becoming bulletin board material. I didn't even bother mentioning Coach Rex Ryan phone call to season ticket holder since it was long and just rambled on and on. :P

We didn't count the Thursday game so you went 11-4 on our scoreboard. :)

Sorry but this team is just that pathetic, they have a better chance of picking up fly shit with boxing gloves or going out in a thunderstorm and dodging rain then getting this win let alone preventing AP from getting 150+ yards.

Fucking GG Jets. It happens so often in football when people talk shit they fail miserably, but they knew what was what.

Here were my preliminary picks from early last week.

Titans over Texans -- Tied at 31-31
Cardinals over Jaguars -- currently 31 to 17, Cardinals
Eagles over Saints -- not happening. Currently 48-22, Saints.
Raiders over Chiefs -- I was right. 13-10 final, Raiders.
Patriots over Jets -- 9-16, Jets.

Vikings over Lions, and let's face it, they SUCKED LAST SEASON!!! 0-16, LOST EACH GAME -- Got it right,
27-13, Vikings

Packers over Bengals -- 31-24, Bengals
Rams over Redskins -- 7-9, Redskins
Panthers over Falcons -- not looking too good. 20-28, Falcons. Not gonna happen. The Panthers just didn't play good ball today.

I'll post the others when it gets down to the wire.

They walked away with it in the end though, and that's all that matters. Take the Raiders game for instance. lol. The Cowboys/Giants game was EPIC though. That's what football is all about. :) And Molotov, that picture kicks ass. Haha. Can't blame them though, Sproles has been kickin ass. They would've lost against the Raiders if LT had played the whole game.

I am officially Awesome. 5-11 in my picks this week; a benchmark that will be hard to beat. Odds are you'd do about as well if you just picked teams at random. Good thing I didn't bet this week, I took one look at the spreads and decided I didn't want to touch this week with someone else's money; preliminary results suggest I made the right choice. There's always next week.

Good Monday night game too, unfortunately I missed most of it; but I caught Indy's game winning drive at least. From the highlights and the way the announcers were talking Miami played them pretty tough.

Yeah, but the Giants had no red zone offense, and they weren't getting any points until the end of the 2nd quarter.

And I say that Flozell Adams gets suspended; shin-kicking is for pussies, especially when they hurt other guys.

The Cowboys/Giants game was EPIC though. That's what football is all about. :)

It's hard to think back to a game that awesome, except for the Giants-Patriots Superbowl.

Well, LT is getting old, and right now he's hurt with an ankle injury.

Well guys, that wraps up Week 2. I haven't tallied up the scores yet, but I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say EternitySpent did the worst. :P I'll have the roster out sometime today. And props to the dolphins. It's just too bad Pennington choked at the end. Fumbles it and the dolphins manage to keep possession, then he throws a pick. Ugh. I know you can't blame the whole game on him, but that's why the QB's get paid the big bucks. To get the shit together and pull down the W at the end of the day. EVEN JEMARCUS RUSSELL managed to pull that of this week! Haha. But all in all, it was a good showing.
