That right there... was when most people noticed he'd retired. So, if you want to actually pinpoint it, check the pentalist archives... the updates prior to 5/22 (5/21 and 5/14) should be the ones that illustrate a lack of +70 exp weeks for his account. I believe the 5/14 update has him gaining 40 or 50 exp... and the 5/21 update has him gaining exactly 0 exp.

The ones moving up and moving with huge rankups and their insanely high exp. The ones moving down are non-depositing high-expers. It's not a very easy situation to break into unless you're not already EGSC.

If you're EGSC, getting into the top 10 is insanely difficult. But I'll just be happy getting into the top 15 (FOR NOW!).

Every list was affected by the NG Lister incident, sillypants. From RC's RCVL mod/member/regular list... to Dogma's EGRL and top 50 blam/top 50 save lists... to jonthomson's review listing (had he not already stopped it)... to my VP list and pentalist... to ramagi's exp list... to SK's total listing (of course)... to Myst_William's ratio list... to... well, I think I covered them all. We were all using the NG Lister to aid in our listmakery, man. How could we NOT be affected?

That was the final top 500. I'd guess you're around #460 by now, judging from your current VP.

A week later, I did a top 100 (well, top 200, but the 101-200 range wasn't guaranteed to be accurate) to finish the weekly list updating. That was considered (by me, at least) to be the official end of the unofficial top 500 VP list's weekly reign.

Then, PimpMasterKDOG came in and starting doing a couple of top 51s because he wanted to see how his VP rank was changing as he hit new b/p ranks. Bonus then did a top 51. And then I decided to do a top 101 on page 100.

Thus, everything since page 95 has been top 50 or top 100ish, and clearly hasn't extended down far enough to get to you. Sorry. ;_; If you want to see what happened exactly and yadda yadda, please read pages 93-96 or so.

Oh, and BTW: I didn't stop this list just because of Wade's upsetness over the NG Lister. I stopped it because I figured liljim would put in an official top VP list sooner or later... though having to update manually due to not being able to use NG Lister to pull 1000+ id#s anymore was a factor as well. Pentalist requires much less profile opening than the VP list did.

I may update the top 100 every now and then (like every few months) if the official lists still haven't arrived, but this list will never be a regular weekly thing again. Only the pentalist is now. It's more important, for one thing, because it will NEVER be an official NG list. Whereas the VP list will be. Sooner or later. #;-}>

Now... you have 5.44 VP.... Hmmmm... I dunno. You may have moved upwards SOMEWHAT on the list. But I doubt you're that much higher NOW, almost three months later... with 5.44... than you were in March with a 5.37 VP.

You don't have to b/p to raise your VP, but if you really care about your VP, you should at least be depositing every day. And clearly, you haven't been. Your VP would rise by a hell of a lot more than 0.07 in three months if you were missing ZERO deposits.

I would guess your current VP rank is.... between 9900th and 10100th. Right around #10000, IOW.

There's no way in hell (or on earth) that 5.44 VP is in the top 1000 now. Hell, the top 1000 is probably entirely 7.00+ nowadays.

Which is better than i could have hoped. If someone wasnt depositing for me the three months i was away, i suspect i would be sitting in the 700 range.

I never expected you did. Although the Wade going ape shit factor must have came into it surely. I had heard before i left about the possible NG lists being through up, but i never expected anything to take this long. I just hope i will be on one of those "official" lists, when and if they appear.

Indeed, now all i need to do is concentrate on getting 10k in another feild other than posts. Even at that, James clean up of the post history will bring me down to under 10k in that feild aswell, so i have alot of work to do :D
