I'm sitting right now. But only because it's been 3+ days and my knee has mostly healed up. It still gets stiff if I put it into one position for too long.

Basically, I slipped in the rain on a damned loose rock in the pavement... landed face-forward, mostly on my knee. Damn, that hurt like hell for half an hour. Then faded. Then a few hours later it came back... and the true pain began. And lasted. And lasted some more.

Welcome to this weekend's update of the Top 500 Voting Power List! #500 is up from 7.36 VP to 7.37 VP. The number of tracked people in the spreadsheet rose from 1315 to 1321 when I added 6 people who entered SK's top 1000 list six days ago.

There were five rankups in the top 100 VP this week. Congrats to nimmer, biteme2514, Rabindarath, Toocool100, and RageVI. SUPER congrats to biteme2514 on his +0.49 EGG rankup. Massive xx.00 congrats are due this weekend. Firstly, congrats to biteme2514 and Toocool100 for hitting 10.00 VP. Secondly, congrats to moongod for hitting 11.00 VP. And thirdly, congrats to DuMa_RyoHahn for hitting 12.00 VP.

Whew! You guys are rocking the top 100 VP, let me tell ya. And the results are easy to see if you just scroll down a bit and check out the nifty VP range info chart. Now if only dl_Monk would deposit himself from 11.99 to 12.00 VP... and if only Vash-The-Stampede wasn't about to join Symbiont2 in the horrible ignominy of dropping from 10.xx VP to 9.xx VP. ;_; ... anywho, there are new people moving up towards 10 VP, so I guess not all will be lost. Now, that you're a Shaolin Monk and reached the most extremed flexiability; try changing positions more often, like for example put both your legs over your head.... from behind :D

Basically, I slipped in the rain on a damned loose rock in the pavement... landed face-forward, mostly on my knee. Damn, that hurt like hell for half an hour. Then faded. Then a few hours later it came back... and the true pain began. And lasted. And lasted some more.

I'd say its funny, but i guess its not.

Well, I laughed at the situation myself the very day it happened. However, at the time, I didn't know how long my knee was going to hurt for. TEH BRUISEDNESS AND TEH STRAIN. At least I didn't break it or tear a ligament or anything.

Every 10 exp has the same effect on your VP (which goes down and down and down the higher your exp (and HT's exp) gets. Leveling up to 15 just gives you a pretty new icon (which is 100 times better than stupid ol' 14's pipe!), it doesn't give you any boost to VP anymore than any other exp amount does.

You'll be passing both of those for sure. Look at those nice tasty UNCH.s there. Those aren't because they don't deposit at all... those are because their exp amounts are high. With your low (relatively) exp and your high b/p rank bonus, you will be past them in no time from exp deposits alone.

And hey, EGSC isn't the end of a VPer's life. I moved up from #25 (where I started upon becoming an EGSC) all the way up to #18! Sure, I backslide to #19 and now to #20 again... but I'll be moving back up to #19 next weekend due to passing DrMSM (tied him today, but he's one of the TWO people in the top 20 right now who can beat me in a profileID# tiebreaker... the other is Narcissus).

Cost a fortune? My dial-up costs around $20 a month, my cable connection costs around $40 a month. Both are unlimited in terms of usage time AND DL/UL. So... I don't know what you mean. The USA isn't like the UK and other areas of Europe, man. Dial-up connections aren't time/usage/whatever based, fortunately. Haven't been since... hell, 1994 or 1995, really.

Heh, you think you have it bad don't you? Sure, you're at EGSC and can't have anymore VP boosts, but at least you have experience to back that up, while I on the other hand do not. I mean, when I eventually make it there my VP shall still be no where near your's. In fact, if I make it there within 500 days and don't miss a deposit then my VP will only be around 10.54. And I'll have to depend on experience from then on. So yeah, I won't make it to anywhere near the top of the VP list. ;_;

Things are still pretty dense until you get to around 8.50 VP, so yeah...

Nice update gfox. I hope TheIronFist doesn't get too mad at me when i pass her in VP in about a month or so. It's been crazy the past year. At one point it use to be _altr_ and Captain_Bob ahead of me in VP, now their behind. Bob use to be ahead of _altr_.. it's interesting that even the top 10 moves around in terms of VP rank.
