Your next badge will be once you hit 1000.
From there it will be every 500 B/S before your next Badge, then after that it will be every 1000 and so on and so forth.

I'm sad but happy at the same time.
I've been wanting to level up today in B/P, but I had to take an old friend to visit Paris and everything, so bleh, there goes my whole day, and here I am, 22:00 PM, back at home, first thing to do, go to NG, and start depositing / voting / posting and all that stuff. So I'm sad because I didn't reach my goal, but happy because I've spent a wonderful day with that girl, she's very nice and cute.

I'll address both of you at the same time so Greg doesn't have to blow a nut. This list has existed for a long time, starting with CaptainBob running it, then Newgrundling, and now Greg. In all of the time it has existed, neither of you piped in until now to say "Hey, can you please put me on the list." None of the lists you see in the forums are done by NG staff, ergo none of the people doing them have access to the NG databse. It's all done manually and it's a lot of work to do. I gave up on the list you two are more likely to hit before this one a few months ago when I was up to doing 500+ people's stats once a week.

Had you read any of this thread before posting, particularly the past 2 pages or so of posts, instead of just the rankings themselves, you would also be aware that the list is going to be shortened at the next update. Greg will either change the cutoff to 7.00 or 7.50 as the minimum VP. Even after having done so the list will continue to grow until it gets unmanageable and gets trimmed again. You also likely would have seen a number of people asking to be put on the list instead of "HEY!!! ... >:(" so nyah :-P~~~~

For a listing of all the ranks, and a few other things, try this site TheJoe324 put together. Unlike experience levels, B/P ranks are static so no worries about fixit changing what you need.

Photoshop the screenshot so that the numbers tally up to exactly 19,500 instead of 19,503. Copy a 0 from someplace in the shot and paste it over the 3 in the saves is likely the easiest way to do it.

After you vote on something read the top of the page. In my case, it says:

"Thanks for voting, D0GMA!
Your experience points gave you a voting power of 5.96 votes. Your blam and protection points gave you an additional 42% of your experience power, meaning that your total vote power was worth 8.46 votes!"

Base VP comes from your experince ... and I've got a pretty crappy amount of experience for the amount of time I've been here. Since my base VP is close enough to 6 to make no difference, any rank up (the +7% and +5% from General SC being the obvious exception) I do is going to get rounded to .12 VP, as you originally mentioned. Back at level 9, each +2% was only a +.10 or +.11, and even less earlier on. The more experience you have deposited, the higher your base VP, and the greater affect any rank-ups have. Dekathos has a base over 8 (he was listed immediately after me in the latest update) so each rank-up he gets gives him +.16 ... and considering that he is a Security Guard, he can quite quickly climb up the VP list if he chooses to.

It's everyone, but how many days "a few" is varies depending upon your level. The points going up comes from depositing, which dents the amount you need to make your next level. The duration increases at higher levels which is caused by the fact that your VP is based upon your experience, which is compared on a sliding scale to the experience of the level 30(s).

As you and they deposit, you make incremental gains on them in your percentage of your experience versus theirs, despite not actually having gotten any closer. It's like your age versus that of one of your parents. Presuming they had you when they were 20, when you turned 5, you were 20% their age. When you turned 10, you were 33%; at 15, 42%; at 20, 50%; etc., but in no case are you numerically any closer than 20 years younger than they are. The same thing is happening with your VP. The cap on base VP is 10.00. After you hit level 9, your base VP no longer makes quick gains of the low levels and goes into a comparison versus that 10.00 and the increase you see is from that daily percentage increase.

I think that that happens when you deposit BEFORE humantarget52. You'll see your VP going up. But then, humantarget 52 deposits, and you see your VP going the same it was before. I think this is the reason, if not, I hope someone forgives me for saying bull shit, but I think it's the real reason.

You would be correct. If you deposit before humantarget the figures will be different and the voting power will be determined by the amount of experience he has at that point. When he deposits later, that will add another 10 to his total and possibly knock you back .01.

he has 15236 exp
10 exp * 365 days * 4 years + 2 months and 12 days = 15320
so in that amount of time he's only missed about 10 days (i guess)
