I've never tried to get crazy paces for my stats, just whatever I can manage. Having a girlfriend didn't really slow me down, unlike I anticipated. Now having the house to myself for the weekend, might that...

Ah yes... I remember when 75 bppd was that nice green mark in between 50 and 100 colours on Dogma's updates. I'd hit that one every now and then, but I was usually in the 30-60 range, I believe.

Yes! I'm now in the top 100! :D The next goal for VP ranks would be to get in the top 75, so I no longer need to look at the second page again. On the next update, I should be able to pass Dekathos and RoweNuts. Maybe not DaFreak, but the update after the next one, I should pass him by then.

Not at all. You are currently the 910th most experienced user on Newgrounds. You are one of 92 EGSCs out there, who are maximising their voting power.

If you look at the list, there are people who are losing voting power, as they are not depositing. Your experience rank is rising and so is that voting power. For me, people like Idiot-Finder get on my wick, because he's not done much B/Ping for year and suddenly, when I get close to him for voting power, he takes off at a sprint. His experience is much higher than mine, so I've got to put up with him being above me for quite some time.

I'm the 352nd most experienced user on NG at present, yet when Wylo comes to update, I'll be at around the 96th most prolific VPer. Your time will come and you'll be so much better for having done it the hard way - getting the ranks first and then the experience. Trust me.

Sorry about that, X. But that's what happens when you just stop depositing altogether.

At first he was missing one or two at a time... his CHG column on the top 2000 exp site was showing 40 or 50 exp for the week, instead of the 60/70/80 it should have been. But then all of a sudden he stopped entirely at 16670.

While getting back to #15 in VP is quite nice, even if it's at the expense of someone I know quite well like ol' X... getting up to #77 in exp was even better. Mmmm... #77. My birthyear!

There's benefits to both. But with the double-edged b/p vs. exp game that is VP on NG... that's a tough choice indeed.

It's the subject of some others' posts on this page of the topic, as well. While cementing b/p by grabbing EGSC, and then concentrating on not missing any exp after that is good and well... cementing your exp first by getting into the top 50 exp, say... and THEN worrying about b/p... is, in the long run, the more successful VP technique. It also leads to more death threats.

From all teh more-recent-signups-than-you who have been devoted to b/ping since they signed up on NG, as opposed to you.... man... I don't feel envy for THAT aspect of being one of those oldschool top 10 expers who suddenly gets the b/p itch. DEATH THREAT PM TIME AHOY!

It's a worthy goal. Top 50 Blammers is leagues away at present.

If I can just snag top 50 exp... no matter the status of my presence or lack thereof in any other top 50s... I shall be happy forevermore.

You'll need to sign up for a grounds gold account for that. You need to deposit experience daily adn vote on flash to raise your Blam and Protect points. The FAQ should help you out there.

Well, you got pushed down from #100, and out of the top 100 technically... but at least you hadn't broken into two digits yet, right? Once you hit #99 or higher, you'll be set for good, hopefully, as far as the top 100 goes.
