Hey Review Request Gang,
I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to review my latest cartoon? The last two that I did received a surprisingly large number of reviews (I think some people from this club even submitted some), but my last submission didn't get as much attention as I had hoped.
I'm hoping that a brutally honest review will show me what worked and what didn't work. Friends never give good feedback.

Hey Steph thanks for the requests list but I got some more reviews this time oh wait, I only got about three but anyways, I am glad that I am not inactive this week and we got some better flashes this week too

Not exactly up to me. I'm no leader of the club, I'm just the updater :P. You'd be better off asking one of the more regular members who were in the old RRC thread such as Haggard, Fro, Little-Rena, SCTE3 or Coop83. Compare to them I'm a relatively new member, since I've only been part of this club for around 50 thread pages, and some of the people I mentioned have been part of the RRC for over 200 pages (since there was an old review request club thread before, but it got locked because it wasn't kept in any order and hadn't been updated for ages)
But I think, although I'm not sure, that literature reviews shall be written and literature shall be requested when the lit portal comes out.

First, all the basic things you should know are in the first page of the thread...
And you have to make good reviews, take examples, as Supersteph54, Fro, Haggard and Coop reviews...

Your reviews need to be slightly improved. I know that you said you don't review flash, but the one 0 that you gave basically gave no constructive criticism and was full of telling the authors that they sucked. People want to know how to improve their submission not be called names and told they suck.
Your audio reviews aren't the best. They could be improved as well. I suggest looking at Coop's reviews. Haggard has a great example of good quality reviews as well.
I don't want to scare you off with extremely high quality, but Steph's reviews are some of the best quality and quantity wise.
So as of now, no, but if you improve for several reviews come back and I'll reevaluate you.
Your reviews are just one-lined man, that's bad, start reviewing more things, but be critical and unpartial, it's the way to be a nice reviewer...
Try to make more extended revs, try to say the good things and the bad things, but NEVER, NEVER say anything offensive to anybody!!!
Have a nice start!!

But anyway...I'm vaguely curious about joining this, if that was permissable?
As you can see, I've pretty much reviewed audio exclusively up until now. But when I do review , I try to make it as detailed/constructive as possible, and would definitely like to move into reviewing in other parts of the site (Such as flash/art, etc.)
So...yes. I'd like to join, if I could.

How come nobody said this to ME when I started because Sonofkirk just said that my reviews sucked and didn't let me re-join until a month or two after!

Great quality in your audio reviews shows me that you have the promise to become a good reviewer. As long as you strive to make your flash and art match the quality of your audio then you can start reviewing the requests on the last page.
Make sure to read the points rule on the first page and ask if you have any questions.
Alrite Gaiz. I'll try to inprove my audio reviews a bit more :)
As for my flash ones...well...I give up on reviewing those.
