Want to know what the Flames remind me of? The 2002 Carolina Hurricanes. They upset the Devils in the first round, The Canadiens in the second round, and The Maple leafs in the Conference finals. Then they lost to the Red wings in 5 games.
And take a look what happened to the Canes in the 2002-2003 season, All the players responsible for the Canes 2002 Stanley cup run were gone, Martin Gelinas to free agency, Bates Battaglia
was sent to the Colorado Avalanche for Radim Vrbata, Sami Kapanen was sent to Philadelphia, And Ron Francis, Rod Brind'Amour, and Erik Cole had injuries. And playoff hero Arturs Irbe was doing bad in goaltending. That led to the Hurricanes finishing dead last in the NHL standings with an awful 22-43 record. I'm pretty sure that will happen to the Flames next season.

Mysterio philly are the ones that suck they cant kill powerplays and they get them thats there fault there gonan lose to tampa and then tampa will face calgary. Tampa has a better chance vs calgary then philly, cuz tampa is more of a speed scoring team they have so many forwards that score. and there goalie is top tier. While philly has a great goalie but they ar emore about hitting and well the speed of calgary to comparision with philly is unmatched.

The downfall calgary has they didnt face any top tier goalies in there play off runs. So there gonan have arder time scoring compared to what they had. they been shooting on abesier/salo legace/cujo nabokov/ ??? and there not top tier so vs fhilly and esche/burke they will have it easier then bulin/???.

Calgary is gonna have a tough time with Tampa. Because they both play the same but Cal. Will blow Philly out of the water. Cal is faster, rougher and they have a better goalie

That last goal of Philly's in overtime was weak. Bulin shoulda had that. And there is no goalie this year better than Kipper. He comes through when the Flames need him, Bulin doesn't.
Tampa would be worse for Calgary though. They have the same speed, it is just that Philli doesn't. If calgary can keep hitting and flying, they will win, no questions asked. Not to mention, Tampa and Philli both don't have very good defense. Calgary has worked and worked with their defense (excpet commodore and montador) and would be unbeatable if Gauthier and Lydman were playing.

Even if the Flames win the Stanley cup, They will have the NHL's worst record next season.
Read this article about the Carolina Hurricanes. That will happen to the Calgary Flames next season.
