Domo Kun Angry Smashfest? You know it helps if you type out the name of the game or include a link to the game on Newgrounds
playing the same game as I am? Because either:
Yes.
1. It is some super easy version;
Nope.
2. The current version has been made harder;
Nope.
3. On the current, faster computers the game is working too fast.
Also nope.
It is visible for me especially on the manhole level and during the final boss fight. On the manhole level I cannot do more than few steps without being hit by a lightning (forget about the no-hit medal)
Then you're not hitting them fast enough. Too slow and you get hit by lightning.
and as for the final level... as I can see the author of the walkthrough could just take a walk around and approach the boss without any problems while when I try to do it it looks like this: I hit him, he falls, gets up, calls a bombing, I recover, try to move I get an axe hit, get up again-he calls another bombing and so on so I even don't have time or ability to move myself and get him. During the whole walkthrough video he calls the dragon 1-2 times and 2 bombings, during the same amount of time I am getting about 10 bombings, sometimes even 3-4 in a row!
Maybe because you're not doing it right. You do know those dragon calls aren't random, right? If you just go flailing about a bunch of course he's going to call the dragon a bunch.
Something is stupid here...
Nope just a legitimately hard game.
Since I bought the new computer it is not the first time I am experiencing a situation like this when a game is working much faster than it should. But what am I supposed to do? Somehow slow the cores of my CPU down?
Nah. It's most likely you're just not playing it right. Also that game is best played in Firefox browser so try using that.

I had to make this post a bit shorter ;-)
Well, I could argue about that. When I was using my previous, 8-years-old laptop many games were running slower for me and some of them I simply could not play because of CPU/graphic card requirements. I mean especially Smokoko's games that are pretty graphics-intense and IriySoft games, especially the night mode in Cursed Treasure 2. Because of the lag it was unplayable for me at that time.
After I bought my current computer I noticed that I can finally play those games, but also many games are running faster for me than before. In some of them it gave me better control, in some of them it increased the difficulty. Surprisingly I am still meeting games that lag for me, but this is probably because of poor optimization of those games or terrible memory management. There is one zombie games series...
Continuing: several times I was checking a walkthrough for some games and noticed that they indeed are working faster for me than for somebody that recorded a walkthrough 3-4 years ago. So probably the hardware matters. Well, even the browser matters. I for example noticed that Firefox seems to be faster while Chrome is more reliable, stable. Yes, I can feel that slight difference.
But returning to the hardware issue: I could make my own video to compare it with those I mentioned and it would show the difference between the speeds of the played games. The difference is possible. It can depend on the way in which the game uses the users' computer's CPU and/or RAM. If it can use more of the computer's resources... But if that happens - it only shows another problem with optimization, but in the opposite way.
Another BTW today: congrats on entering the 400K zone on the list!

Yes it's very possible and is the case in some games. I just don't believe it's the case in this specific game. I find it more likely you're probably not doing it right, because it is a very difficult game, and very easy to lose, and when you're attacking that end boss guy is when he'll throw explosions all over. It took me a long time before I was able to beat him. Many of the medals in that game are extremely difficult to obtain, some even requiring a large amount of luck in addition to skill.
I believe the reason you're not getting the behavior you expect from the walkthrough is because you're not playing it the way the guy played in the walkthrough. You're probably just spamming the final boss, which will make him spam explosions more. It's not easy. I barely did it.
But, you could be right. I can't say for certain that you're not, just what seems most likely to me. If you make a video of a significantly different gameplay that would convince me. But I suspect the gameplay is probably the same but you're just not anticipating the boss behavior well enough to beat him.
I do know Antichromatic is very hardware-dependent, and some games that are timing-sensitive can be. That tends to be where you'll mostly run into such problems (other than if the game is too laggy to play). And I just can't see where there would be such timing-sensitivity in regards to that final stage.
Games do play quite differently on Firefox and Chrome sometimes, with one giving an advantage over the other, or games only possible on one or only on the other. In this case do use Firefox for this game. I guarantee that's what I used.
Another BTW today: congrats on entering the 400K zone on the list!
Thanks. I'm trying to climb to number 13. But that's going to take a while although I suspect if I make number 13 I'll probably make number 12 not too long after. Check how close numbers 8 and 9 are. Neck and neck.
Is it just me, or does the game Gravitee Wars get stuck on the "A GAME BY funkypeaer" screen?
I at least can't find a way to start it.

Weird... it used to work fine for me, but I couldn't earn any medals from it. Many tried, only few succeeded.
I checked on Firefox and Chrome, the same result as for you.
I sent an e-mail to the author about it.
How to earn "Mysterious Stranger" on Fishbane? Spent all afternoon to crack it (and did) but never saw any strange creature.

I think it was by going to the 8th page in the 'Journal' (in the menu).
How did you unlock "Learn to fly"? (the secret medal)

How did you unlock "Learn to fly"? (the secret medal)
(edit: Thanks!)
In the credits it is stated in a sort of cryptic way: You have to replay the "Learn to Walk" level, but without collecting any fish. The clue says "10/10 ... 0/10" so you probably have to get all 10 first, then replay it without getting any.
This will "switch" the learn to walk level with the learn to fly, which is the exact same layout but with a much greater challenge. TO earn the medal you got to beat the learn to fly level, I don't know if you need to collect all goldfish, so just try to get them.
(It's not as hard as the scary places though)

Nice, thank you!
"Voyeur" secret medal is probably broken, because in game footage won't ever load (and probably is the trigger for the medal)

I'm having this too. The game is definitely broken, I tried every browser.
Anyone has any idea on how to unlock medals "The Great Creator" and "Lucky User"? I tried everything.
Can anyone tell me where the Golden glove is? I spent over an hour here already. Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know how to get the Ultimate Shot medal for this game?
It's all shits and giggles until someone giggles and shits.

1. take the grey gloves directly south of the gas mask as your first item,
2. take the grey shirt south of the gas mask as the second item,
3. the golden glove will spawn below the shirt.
I don't know if that will unlock the medal though.

Did you click the flag in the background on top of the mountain as soon as you can see the guys shooting after your first choice?

It unlocks after you get the golden glove and click the "Ready!" button to go to the park.

Thanks! Optimos gave me the solution earlier today by PM though (I sent him a PM because he did unlock that recently)
Anybody has a clue on "Loiter" medal for H3I5T? I took a long a** time to finish it with minimal deaths/alarms and collecting maximum loot (and thus spent a LOT of time) but the medal never appeared. I'm already at my 3rd playthrough and still no medal.
Bugs I encountered:
1- The medal "Professional" was awarded to me on my first playthrough even though I took more than 1 hour to complete (explored everything)
2- The game can't be saved in any way
Did anyone of you encounter this bug? I collected all the coins so far, all levels on A+, but the game is telling me that I got 3 coins less than I really collected. Can it be fixed in any way or my save is already screwed? I tried replaying the previous levels, but it doesn't help.
Infinity - To the Top just recently added medals. FYI: There is one medal that is still invisible because no one's achieved it - score 100,000 points.

In that guide for OCD+ the use of macros and key modifiers is suggested. Isn't doing so very controversial if not really against player consensus for acceptably earning medals?
Is there a trick to the
Earn the Crown
medal?
Does anybody remember this game?
There is this (extremely censored words) level 8 in this game... As most of the reviewers stated lots of times it happens that you destroy all of the V2 launchers, but the game still says that you failed the mission objectives. I found out that it mostly happens when you are bombing those launchers, but if you hit them with lasers it is ok. But doing this prevents me from reaching the higher altitude for the most of the level and therefore reaching a score by destroying enemy planes that would give me 3 stars on that level. I managed to get a score of about 16 500 but it is still not enough for the game...
Any advice? Especially for that V2 launchers bug?
28 medals to be unlocked in this simple game of mine. Try it out.

Did you correct the issue with medal unlocks? Earning several medals and not receiving them, will turn off most players.

As DoctorStrongbad said, you earn some medals but miss others, which is unfair for players and it might discourage them. BTW I think both medals about the screen shaking are broken, cause I had the screen shaking for several seconds lots of times and I didn't earn any medal for it.

On another topic, I'm playing Closure right now and I got to 25th level but I can't seem to get past the door. I checked some walkthrough on YT and did exactly the same step by step but when I get to the door and press up, it simply won't take me to the next level, and instead the character jumps. It could be because of the change to https, as I've already found games that had some issues with in-game depth because of this change. Too bad cause I've been playing for hours and I'll lose all my progress without beating the game...
