You have to go back and forth, touching the cores underneath the lever. This will cause weight shifting, so you'll have to be really fast and precise. Putting too much weight on one side will cause the lever to swing too fast, closing off access to the other side. Once you've touched the last core underneath the lever on one side, you pretty much have free reign to touch the rest of the cores.
As for the exact path, I found it by trial and error =/

The star bottle and slowing time is something that I actually found a bit counter-productive, lost a fair amount of lifes due to it. Generally speaking, it is your best bet to aim carefully because your score gets decreased when your accuracy is lower than 100%. Just use the slow time for easy targets like bottles to shoot those while 2 or 3 of them are in the air, otherwise just let the effect run out.

1.) Phantom library room: on the library table. You literally can't miss this one.
2.) Familiar painting room, behind the library shelf: bottom shelf.
3.) "Sewer" room 1: talk to the person behind the grate, and select the "Who are 'they'?" dialogue option.
4.) "Sewer" room 2: tucked in the far right end of the grate.
5.) Fireplace/scary room: in the fireplace.
6.) Classroom: on the floor under the middle desk.
7.) Dark corridor 3: on the floor to the left.
8.) Old toy room: on top of the boxes, top shelf far right.
9.) First forest branch path 1: far left, in plain sight on the tree trunk.
10.) Second forest branch path 1: left side.
11.) Main forest path 5 (just before the mill): right side, in the tree hole.
12.) River path 1: left side at the base of some trees.
13.) Fountain: right edge on the fountain.
14.) Pipe wrench room: right side, behind the door. This one is easy to miss because you could easily click the left exit instead.
15.) Mill pipe room: right side, wedged between pipes.

I got a bug where killing the metal machine immediately reduced my health to 0. Didn't feel like sitting through another 20 levels if it'd happen again.
So I think there's a bug in the new site: if you use the button in the top-right to collapse a medal game, and then you use the button again to re-expand it, any medals you earn after doing that won't be sent to the server. I just spent 10 hours earning end-game medals in Cursed Treasure 2, but because I collapsed the game, none of them registered on NG. Now, if I want them to show up, I have to start a new game and do it all over again.
