Personally, I'm not sure why people are so excited over a 10 dollar prize. It certainly Ain't something that should cause bad blood among us. Maybe I should get rid of all the medals for the game. That might help cool things off.....
I don't consider what Queen did as cheating, or hacking, in any way. I knew that he had used some sort of auto click feature for his mouse, because I was planning to do the same thing. I'm not going to waste 3-6 days clicking a stupid game that I gave a score of 1 on. A game that might glitch, or where the Flash might crash, losing all progress made. And I certainly have no interest in killing off my finger in a competition to see who can develop carpel tunnel syndrome first, and certainly not for 10 bucks - and I didn't even know that money was involved until people began making a stink over it.
I think the author is well aware of this particular feature, and he has an idea of the approximate time it might take people to complete the challenge, which is why he made a close date for it - and I think he may have used it himself.
I don't want to see this type of thing happening again around here. You have a problem with the way someone earned a medal, you talk to the mods about it. We'll investigate it, and take appropriate actions if needed.
was planning to do what Queen did, because I'm not going to waste 4-6 days, trying to get a 25 point medal. I would also be royally pissed if the game glitched, or if the flash player crashed, and I lost all progress if I did it the way the author intended.
I also believe Queen. I also didn't notice the cash prize for the game, until people started accusing him of cheating. I gave the game a 1, because I hate those types of games and saw no redeeming quality to it - no effort. I also looked at the timeframe
