It's not impossible you just need to make some lucky or damn good shots, getting the X bonus is the key and finishing the Level sinking the last 2 or 3 balls in one shot gives you enough boost to get the 3,000 points. I haven't got it yet. One bad shot ruined my run and unfortunately I missed the medal by a mere 100 points. If I had made the shot I missed, I would have got the medal. A little persistence and I'm sure we will get it. As MatthewF stated before multiple sinking especially on those last shots, make the world of difference scorewise. Good Luck All.

I'm not sure if its just me or not, but it seems like after I bought the last upgrade for the gun, the FBI guys got harder to kill. I was scoring at least 2000 or so points each run before buying that, and afterwards, only around 600 because the guys in the cars (who used to die with a few shots) now seemingly take forever.

Is this a glitch? Or just something on my side for some reason?

I actually ran into that problem too. I bought all the gun upgrades, and couldn't even get past the normal car guys (one shot guys). I swear I fought two of them for about 10 minutes and they didn't die (I did tho).

Also, did anyone get any medals for this game? I played for an hour and got none.

I got back out with Dad just fine. If you do get stuck, press R to reset.

That said, this game suffers from a few fatal flaws, mostly from not being able to collect bonus items in various areas.

The author of the game fixed the problem. Everything should be working fine, now.

there's a glitch in the game where if you go to the bottom of the screen and the FBI agents with the handguns won't be able to hit you. As long as you don't destroy them, you can easily get all the distance medals without doing a thing.

Actually in an early attempt, with 4 health left, I sat mid-screen, held the shield button down in an attempt to get the 4 miles traveled medal and sat behind 2 grenade throwing FBI Jeeps and traveled over 20 miles before my finger got sore and I had to let go. I think it's just a matter of luck as to whether it happens or not. But I did think it was strange that when you got the final gun upgrade, the gun became virtually useless. Thank God that's fixed. I shall go finish the game now.

It seems as though a few medals don't work. The 5 pointer for getting one piece of the eye, and kill 100 ships for sure. The only one I got that actually popped up was for saving 5000 gold coins. Not sure if that's just on my end or not, but figured I'd give a heads up.

Same happened to me - I also should have earned those medals but didn't get them, which is unfortunate. The game itself is still great though - I will wait until the issue with the medals has been solved.

A little, hopefully helpful hint if your struggling with this game. Since this game has NO tutorial, some of you may not be aware. That you actually have a super helpful one-off super save, for when you get in a bit of trouble and those balls seems out of control, just click the left mouse button, remember you only get 1 of these saves. But it pushes all the balls that are on the screen at the time, back up off the top of the screen, buying you some much needed time.

Honestly you guys will probably fly through this game in 10 to 15 minutes. But I'm old and frail and got so pissed off when I died with 119 seconds gone. I will get back to this later.

The authors of this game have now made getting the medals for finding the items easier/more accessible. They've changed the locations of some of the items to make it easier to get the medals. So far I have all of them, except Salad Fingers rusty spoons. Could someone help me find the last one?

Here are the locations that I have found the spoons so far (there are 5 in all to find):
One: Pico's level under the generator/character switch thing he was in; you have to use Dad to break some blocks to get it.
Two: Bitey's level in the middle of the forest (obvious location; anyone can see).
Three: Salad Finger's own level. It's in the middle of the level easily accessible once you get Salad Fingers.
Four: In the gold level, you once again use Dad to break some blocks under you when you first start the level to get the spoon.

If someone could let me know where the 5th one is, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, the medal for completion (defeating P-bot) is still broken btw.

It was in a pit in the first level before you rescued anyone. Only problem I have with this is that I have no clue how to access the first level.

Like I said, they changed the locations of some of the items. I looked in the pit for it, and it was no longer there. Thanks for remembering that tho.

If anyone does find the location of the last spoon, let me know, here or PM. I listed the ones I found in an above post, I just need the last one.

Yep, none of 'em seem to work (aside from the 5000 gold coin medal) as I just defeated the Kraken, and nada.

Another tip for Bounce Up Balls:

When your ball is touching the red zone, it still has an apparent "velocity" based on how high your mouse cursor is. So if you hold the cursor at the very top of the red zone, you'll bounce things much higher, even though your ball doesn't appear to be moving.

Also, if a ball slips by, moving down to save it can sometimes tip the balance of the game against you. Try to stay on top of things and let a ball slide here or there without plunging to rescue it (especially after 60 seconds).

Okay, in the game Pirateers, how do you get the golden treasures? They're the chests you find on the islands, correct? Reason I ask, is because I must've found more than 10 so far, but the stats screen only register 8. Am I doing something wrong here? Because I don't wanna fight the Kraken, because I think that'll reset the game and I'd have to start all over finding those damn chests again.

I think I know what the problem in your case is. It doesn't count the Golden Treasures that you get via those quests, only the ones that you find with the maps that destroyed ships drop. The symbol must be green to count, red one is quest related and doesn't count. And yes, you better get those treasures before the Kraken, because the game froze for me after I beat the boss. I also like that my current level icon is a pirate sword :3
