They may not be on the game's page, but it does have medals worth points.

Is the secret room visible? Or do you have blow up a wall in order to get to it?

I've tried several things, but even shoop-da-whooping, blowing up the slot machine and entering the arena doesn't seem to work.

Or can anybody send me a PM please?

AFAIK, secret rooms are just as random as everything else, and you need a bomb to enter one every single time. Devil shops do not count.

I had the fortune of finding one by blowing up a bomb fly next to the entrance.

Incredibly unrelated to the games released now, but there's a way to easily scrape a few seconds off your time in cherry mountain in Super Drift 3D.

To do this, on the straight bit where the cherry blossom floats above your head in the middle of the course, where you will get to in about 32 seconds, drift a tiny bit. Don't make corners, since it's on a straight bit, but just tap the right and left arrow keys lightly while holding shift. If you do this correctly, it will take some practice, you will go about 185-203(!) MPH. You will be able to gain about 2 seconds compared to your previous time. If you do this in the start too, from the point where you drive with about 130 MPH, you will gain a second there too. With those three seconds, you will be able to go under the 1:10 limit more easily.

Pic for more clearance:

Huh. I've been trying Galaxus for a few days without getting to the 60th wave, but this time I made it to 72 - and counting. It seems I've encountered a glitch that makes it so I can't die, no matter what happens. Fortunately for those who want to keep their scores up on the scoreboard, I can't send my score since I can't die, but it made that 100pt medal a little bit unfairly easy to get.

I feel like starting a medal guide for that soon, under the assumption that there are only 4 medals, totaling 110 points. If there are more, it would be nice to know.

I think there's 5 medals (at least as far as I know)... Kill the 1st boss, kill the 2nd Boss, kill a mini-boss, find the secret room, and buy something in the shop. But yeah, it would really be nice to know if that were it for the medals.

-- No mention of bombing open solid (not barred) doors, if for some reason you really want out of a room full of death and can't be arsed to kill all enemies. I have no idea what happens if you later re-enter the room.
-- No mention of bombing rocks to fill up holes.
-- No mention of bombing discolored rocks for goodies.

I don't know how far you want to take this FAQ/guide thing.

Thanks.

All i know about most re-colored enemies is their health.

-- Sometimes boss encounters are duos instead of a single entity.

Probably should've mentioned that with Gemini.

-- The secret room I found had 9 pennies, no slot machine. Yes, I did get a medal for it.

Weird. Goddamn how EVERYTHING is so random...

-- No mention of the devil shop. This is a special shop where you pay permanent health for items and upgrades.

Never found the devil's shop before, so I wouldn't know how to get to their either.
Guess I need to put in a section on specific rooms.

-- No mention of bombing open solid (not barred) doors, if for some reason you really want out of a room full of death and can't be arsed to kill all enemies. I have no idea what happens if you later re-enter the room.

Never figured that out.

-- No mention of bombing rocks to fill up holes.

Forgot to mention that, thanks.

-- No mention of bombing discolored rocks for goodies.

Never seen a colored rock.

I don't know how far you want to take this FAQ/guide thing.

I would certainly like to mention everything the demo presents. And again, considering how random everything is, even if there are medals for 5 different aspects, preparing the player for the real game would help, too.

It's not just Gemini, it's also the worm boss (I've always seen that encounter in pairs), and sometimes Monstro. I wouldn't be surprised if there's more possibilities with mobile bosses.

The discolored rocks are kinda subtle and rare. Once you recognize them, they're easy to pick out.

Well, after some thought, I decided to only cover the material that's only related to the medals. But even then, I would still like some help in finishing the coverage, such as with bosses. Could be my bad luck that's keeping them the rest of them away...

I just had a particularly lucky run in Isaac!

-- Found the X-Ray Vision for my first powerup. This allowed me to find any secret rooms, and they don't require bombs to access.
-- First secret room in Basement I had 9 cents. The second secret room in Cave I had a slot machine. After shoving a second coin in, I got a dollar, and the thing broke. Apparenly 99 cents is the maximum amount of money you're allowed to have.
-- Bought out the shop. Nothing happened, lol.
-- Found a black enemy that was next to a TNT.
-- Found a devil shop. Apparently there's a limited amount of times you can enter it, before it disappears. Just like the previous time I found one, it appeared after I killed the boss.

Other notes:
-- The ladder lets you bridge single-tile holes. Very useful!
-- If you somehow escape a battle room before killing all the monsters, it will be as if you were never attacked in the first place. Consequently you also won't get the reward for clearing it.
-- It is possible to randomly teleport into a secret room. In that case, one exit is already revealed (but you must use a bomb to get back in).

Bosses for HoS:
-- Fistula (giant ball thing that splits up the more you attack it; eventually spawns lunging maggots)
-- Peep (what an evil asshole!)
-- Larry Jr. (double worms)

Bah, Ed wins, I'm buying this game even though I don't approve of its morbid nature >_> The spoof on the biblical Binding of Isaac is funny though xD

May or may not remember this one.

-- Peep (what an evil asshole!)

Haven't encountered this one yet, so I better keep playing for this guy, too.

-- Larry Jr. (double worms)

Ah, that was the name of that one. Annoying on how those turds kept coming back, sometimes cornering me in a bad spot.

Thanks.

One more thing: buying the map in the store reveals all rooms for all levels, including secret rooms. Maps normally cost 15 in stores however, and the chances of you randomly finding one are pretty low.

So it turns out there are at least two different types of secret rooms. I just posted this on HoS' walkthrough, but I'll repost it here in its entirety for anyone who doesn't check that page regularly:
________________________________________
____________

Alright, so to find the secret room by bomb, you really need to just plant bombs in the middle of walls that don't have anything known on the other side.

Also, there are actually TWO secret rooms available. First of all, it's relevant to know that my game was entirely demonic: I started out with Vampirism, which gave me a stupid grin and hair like Dracula's, but more importantly made it so that every some-number of kills, I healed a full heart of health. After beating the first boss, I got Breakfast, which gave me a permanent health upgrade; this is relevant (I think).

In the second level I got a 10 bomb upgrade from a random chest, which gave me horns and a fuse next to my head. I later acquired the tarot deck, started with XX Judgment and played it, and got the dude looking for coins. Gave him two, got XVII The Moon. Played it, got to the main secret room. Picked up my 1up mushroom and left, then went back to the begging dude and gave him two more coins, and he gave me a teleporter.

After I'd cleaned out the rest of the level I used the teleporter, and rather than being taken to a random room in the level, as seems to be the usual habit, I was taken to a second secret room, in its own level - the level map showed just a black map with a white question mark in it. It was grey and decorated with skulls, just like the combat room on level 2, and had the two fires just like every other free loot room. There was a door to the left, which I should have taken to see what was through it, but didn't. In it I found two items, both of which were available for the cost of two permanent heart levels: "The Mark" which was a 666 arranged in a circle, which gave me damage up, and a black cat, which gave me 9 extra lives. After getting both of them I was down to 1 permanent heart level, and was then taken back to the starting room of the level.

So I ended up having gone through two secret rooms, and having 1 heart, 10 lives, and 12 bombs. However, my level 2 boss was Gurdy, who is a fucking asshole. Turns out when you die on a boss and re-enter the room, his health resets, so even though I got him down to 1/3 health at one point by expending almost all of my bombs on him, I was unable to beat him. Not that I needed to, though, since I already have that medal.

So there you have it; two secret rooms. I do not know whether you have to be "evil" to get the second one.

Deploy the... it's a yellow button... it's usually flashing... it makes the engines go... whoosh!

I found the devil shop first, and it didn't count. Besides that, there's a chance of it showing up after you defeat the boss.

The medals are now worth points. They don't shop up at the page as of yet though.

And congratulations fooliolo for making the 23.000th post in this thread. Not that it matters much, but still a nice milestone.

Some observations:

-- Killing off zombies in adjacent areas reduces the danger level for your city.
-- Certain areas are more likely to yield some items. For example, you find guns in police stations.
-- Reclaiming an area that still has resources yields half its resources, but no items.
-- Reclaiming an area with survivors will yield no survivors.

-- Hospitals reduce normal infection incidents (random). Researching antivenom reduces deaths from zombie bites (random).
-- Schools train survivors, at a cost of two days.
-- Churches and bars increase happiness.
-- A few buildings are useless, but can be replaced by something useful if you have builders of sufficient level.
-- 1x2 shopping areas can be fortified at a cost of time to increase your city defenses. Police stations automatically grant you bonus defenses.

I've won by city hall so far. I haven't started a new game yet with carry-over survivors, but I'll see how crazy it can get later on.

Has anybody figured out all the options how to win? I've got three so far:

- Winning by making a government in the city hall
- Winning by escaping via helecopter
- Winning by defeating the other gang

I thought those were the three.

I've got all buildings in my posession, and thus defeated every zombie. I've also researched everything.

Or is there an ending you can't get on easy mode?

Is that the one that starts when the random professor shows up and takes over one of your labs, then demands an assistant? I never got to see the end of that one, lunch was nearly over, so I took city hall and won that way.

Yeah that will happen. It takes time to repair the thing, then finally you'll be given an option to assign a task force to fix it.

Aw man, I had no idea. There's no way to continue playing, and fix it again, is there? Or is it a one time deal?

On a side note, tomorrow's my 1 year anniversary on this site. I suck at video games, so I set a 25,000 point goal for the year (a goal I thought was impossibly high). Imagine my shock as I just hit 75,015 medal points! And I couldn't have done it without all your guys' help. Yeah, it's a silly accomplishment, but it's the little things that help get you through the day, right?

So I wanted to say thank you to all for the help this past year. Here's to the start another great one! :)
