Odd, I had a bunch of these medals, but none of the points are showing up on my profile even after earning a couple more. Before this game was approved (back when it first was released), I had 72215, and now after getting 30 points in medals, I've got 72270. I should have more than that. Curious. Hopefully earning another medal will fix this.

Well at least I know I'm not alone in this. Take comfort that you only got 2 medals, I had pretty much every one except for a couple'a 5 pointers. :( I talked with Zegman about it a few days ago, and he's just as confused as we are as to why that happened (he's thinking it has something to do with the length of time the medals took to get approved).

I guess this is one chalked up to good ol' Mr. Glitch.

If you want to know how many points you're behind, log your stats on ng logs, and then compare the medal total on your userpage with the medal total given on the medal list. Newgrounds logs gives the right amount, by the way.

I also got my points back (as in they show up on my userpage now) by getting some more medals in particle wars extreme.

I was completely unaware of this, thanks for the heads up! But there's another issue... for some reason, I got another medal, but it didn't show up on my point tally. It's probably just another instance of getting another medal to balance it out, but I'm wondering why this keeps happening.

Been playing this game off and on, lately. I have noticed that the range upgrade is broken in it, and that the power upgrade adds so little extra damage to the towers it not worth the cost of points to put into it. Anyone else notice this?

Range upgrade? If you're talking about the cape or the sniper tower, those work fine.

The power upgrade boosts your tower damage by a percent. The general consensus is that they're necessary to pass the later maps. Everything else except extra lives is probably better than the damage upgrade (accessories being a crap shoot for DPS items), but you'll need all the help you can get.

I've been through the game four or five times now, and I still haven't found the 0-point medal. Mind shooting me a PM with its location or hints or something? I've done the usual stuff... hunt for secret buttons, click on the author and Facebook links, pressed every button on the keyboard, clicked on everything I could find in-game and tried to walk into every wall... obviously I'm overlooking something.

This game is really fun, I nearly 100%-ed it on Kongregate (well, technically 100%, but missing the optional achievements for 2000m in escape mode [could probably get that with more practice/luck] and heroic boss rush [I got pretty close, could probably do it with practice]). I'd be interested to see how close my story speedrun time (858 seconds, #16 all time there) will be to you more competitive people :P. I think it's a really good game so the medals should be approved.

It's kinda repetitive. But I do like the sound of bling blings in this game!

I agree this game is good enough for medals. The medal pictures are pretty disappointing though. Other than miscellaneous medals and dropped connections, I'm certain I've gotten them all.

2km Escape can be done with the fully upgraded bouncing gun. It doesn't have the best DPS, but the fire rate and randomness from human error creates a sort of cloud of bullets that goes ahead to clear out any hostiles that might surprise-buttsex you.

Heroic Boss Rush is just plain hard. I'd like to say that certain weapons work better for certain situations, but I can't speak on that with great experience. Bumrush boss 6 when the laser walls start moving around. You're doing well if you can make it to the final boss, final phase with half your health left.

I might try to beat your speedrun time just because you requested it, but motivation to replay this game is kinda low at the moment =/ I'll let you know if nothing else occupies my time.

Not a bad little game, but there's an exploitable glitch that pops up every so often that makes it easier... at certain times, an "invisible enemy" will show up and you can keep blowing it up for coins. I'm not sure if it's a random occurrence or what, but I lucked out and got it once.

No, I meant the Wave upgrade. Don't know why I said range... Anyways, for the amount of points I put into them I would have liked to see some noticeable effect, especially for the later levels, where the enemies get ridiculously powerful.

I've run into the invisible enemy every time I've played the game, except in my experience it cannot be killed; instead, it acts as a barrier of sorts that absorbs all shots fired near it, which really sucks when you have those fast-moving red enemies come down from the top of the screen. I've gotten killed a number of times because of an invisible enemy I was not yet aware of blocking my shots, thus causing the red enemy to run straight into me. It's frustrating.

Well, I thought the game was a little easier when I didn't buy the backward bullets. Not only you have one less enemy that can't be killed at the front (and you can't shoot through it to kill other enemies), those bullets can be really confusing if you go up/down really quick. Also, take your time. Start a wave by killing as much of those yellow enemies as you can, and then chill/dodge and take out the other ones without taking too much risk. Don't go for the coins too much, you'll get plenty, and sometimes there might be a bullet hidden inside of them (if you don't pay enough attention to what enemies are above it). Another important thing is, every time you die, close the screen and open it again. The game generates little spaces that absorb your bullets. Enemies behind it cannot be killed because of it. Closing your game every time solves this problem 99% of the time.

The most important thing might be: pray to God you don't get the 15-yellow enemies waves you can get passed wave 50. I've survived it once, but that was more luck than skills I guess.

Keep in mind you're doing it for the lulz, as I'm convinced the medal is broken. But you've figured away around it before and I'm really interested to see if you can find something to make the medal work.

I make no promises. Excluding the possibility of a connection fart, and based on your way of playing the game, it does sound to me that the medal is broken =/ Still, it's good practice to independently verify this fact.

You can also use bombs to find secret rooms, by blasting certain walls. It's basically a perverted version of the original Zelda game NES
