It's just a ye olde generic secret button: no indicator until you click on it, small enough so that you can't accidentally click on it, large enough so it's not a stupid pixel hunt. That's pretty shameful after given the exact frame where it's found, still can't find it, then complain publicly. You have my assurance that this is just a simple secret button with no hooks attached. Just keep trying and go slowly.

Believe me, there do exist games on NG that features these kinds of tasks (including knowing the frame where the secret button exists), and it may only be a matter of time before something similar to Impossible Quiz or The Timewaster series shows up with point medals.

Although none are close to being as ridiculous as ugolegend94's Keeper of Secrets >_>

Really enjoying this game as well. Got stuck once but just took some map searching. I don't know how beating this game in 30 minutes is going to be possible. I'm at 30 minutes now and only beat the second boss.

Here's my map if people are missing a few things. Still can't beat the second form of the last boss, but got pretty close. Maybe somebody can point out the spots i'm missing?

You miss a small room in the 5x2 open room in the bottom-left corner. It's the second from above on the left.

Also, you missed the three rooms on the top left corner of the red part of the map.

Snailiad has a buttload of secrets! There are a few rooms that you can explore that don't serve any purpose other than as a shortcut for the speedrun medal.

Also, if you defeat Moon Snail, you'll get a notification everytime you enter a zone telling you how many items you've missed. Since it doesn't tell you how many rooms you missed (afaik), you mind as well go the whole mile and crawl on every possible nook and cranny anyways.

Calm down Knuckstrike! There's two Helix Shell Pieces in the room full of blue spikies, in case you weren't being thorough. Other than that, not sure what you might be missing.

Thanks for the map fooliolo. I was missing two spots that didn't have anything in them after I found all the items. Also how do you unlock slug mode? I thought I had unlocked it, but I don't see it on the menu...

Yeah, there's another room after the boss that you can't get to before defeating him. I dunno about weapon, I always used the energy wave thing after getting it. As for strategy, he has three attacks. One, he shoots a wave in front of him. He always chooses either the ceiling or the floor, so just see where he's going and go the opposite. Two, he goes in the middle of the room as a shell and shoots bullets out. Not too hard to dodge, just make sure you're ready for it. Three, he bounces around as a shell. I think he targets you somewhat, so just move out of the way. And the only time you can damage him is when he's out of the shell.

I think that's it, I beat it a few hours ago and my memory isn't great :P. It might take a couple tries, you just need to be able to recognize his patterns.

Thanks for the helping hand, Bobogoobo. I thought you had to stay on the floor when battling the second incarnation of the final boss, seeing how the whole room disappeared. Now it's just gonna take some practice. Thanks again!

Yes there are two rooms with the snelik in them. They are both in the red section. I think it was a secret medal, so if you can't figure it out from that hint, I'll answer PM's.

And for the person asking about 100% map completion, if you have every square that fooliolo has been to, plus the 5 additional squares that don't show up on the map (near the centre), then you will recieve 100% on the map. I received it upon entering the last room.

I'm processing a video of a speed run I did. Frankly, I think the Boss Rush is harder xP Expect to see it up in a couple hours.

It unlocks after you defeat Moon/Giga Snail. Start a new game to play Slug Mode.

Well, I just got 100% Map Completion on Snailiad.

Sad thing is, I only have 29/30 Helix Fragments. I got both Fragments out of the room with all the blue spikey guys, too, so I have no idea what I could be missing. The idea of combing every single room to find the last Helix is tempting but... good god, I think my brain is bleeding already.

I also had to pass through one of the rooms multiple times before it recognized that I'd passed through that room. Turns out, I had to get every other room on the map before it would recognize my progress through this specific room. Weird.

Anyway, I'm gonna try Slug Mode and call it a day. Great game, but my ADD is kicking in after almost five hours of playtime. >__>
