The 100 point medal for getting over 2100 points got remove/replaced. Apparently the idea was put into motion after the author responded to a reviewer that spelled Exeggcute as "eggsecute".

It's fun, don't get me wrong, but when I have "eggsecute" in for the eggsecute picture, and it won't register, I'm a little more than angry. It took me a while until the game would even randomly decide to accept me typing period (I'm not an idiot, I know how to work a flash game).

I also agree with a previous post about typing being a major part of your score. If it was accuracy, awesome, but speed? That hurts a lot of people. lol

Done. The highest chance of things going wrong are the stray bats, and the stupid cats flying directly into your face when you get to the surface.

Me too. Killing the boss without getting hit isn't the problem, you have to be really patient and careful when going through the game.

I hate it when this happens after I earned a certain medal, but it's more than fair to guys like SFS1313.

It seems that the medals are a bit glitched: About 4 enemies kept hitting the grave on the first level, but after clearing it, I got the protector medal. (100 points!!!)

I've got the ''steady as rock'' medal while taking damage too...

I don't think the 'use weapon >20 times' medals work. The author also appears to have 'glutton' and 'banker' mixed up.

Are you sure you used it more than 20 times on one level? It worked for me, but only on the 21st stone I used.

This just happened, and it says where the enemies are and if my tomb is being attacked. Nonetheless very irritating.

Very, Very buggy game. I'm really starting to hate gamezero. Seems like they only put out two kinds of (weak) games: The hack and slash, being this game and that stupid witch/apple game. And the top down shooter, christmas/valentines day/st patricks day edition or whatever edition they will have next.

Why do they always get medals approved? Terrible mindless games.

To be fair, the medal description DOES say "20 times or more".

Now I'm off to replay the game over again thanks to a bad medal description.

Has anyone noticed progress lost in any Flash games since the update to 10.3? Specifically I'm thinking of Name that Pokemon, where I had 147 and the next day I had 0, and Castaway 2 where local save files suddenly went missing. I checked out previous games that I've played on this machine such as ReImagine :The Game: and my progress is gone from there too.

At the time I update to Flash 10.3 I originally set the storage settings to "Ask me before allowing new sites to save information" - I'm afraid that by doing that it deleted all my flash-related save files, even though I always allowed newgrounds. Does anyone know where those files would be located so I can see if they are still there? If I can find them, do I need to move them to a new location so that 10.3 will see them?

I changed my storage settings to "Allow sites to save information" just as an experiment to see if that's the problem - has anyone else experienced any of this?

Another thing: I do have Firefox set to clear history when it closes, however, I have had this setting turned on for a while and it has not affected flash save files - does the new flash update mean that this Firefox setting now deletes flash files?

Aha! It is when I close Firefox that these things are deleted. (I did a quick round of Name that Pokemon, scored a few, checked my progress at the main menu, closed firefox, opened firefox, went back to the main menu of NtP and "you haz unlocked 0 pokemons". :-/

Btw, I'm sorry to be having this conversation with myself here - I figured most of you guys seem to know what you're talking about and are probably pretty knowledgeable about how flash works since you make the time investment into these games and don't want your progress blown up. If there's a more appropriate place to take these questions I'll gladly pick up my long-posting-ass and go there.

Does anyone know which box should be unchecked in the Firefox "clear history when Firefox closes" settings in order to keep Flash save files?

Make sure that you specifically allow uploads.ungrounded.net.

Otherwise, default settings are just fine. Flash save files (also called .sol files) have nothing to do with Firefox history settings. You can find them here (assuming vista/win7):

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Macrom edia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\RANDOM CODE\uploads.ungrounded.net

You might need to go to control panel-->folder options to enable viewing of hidden files and folders.

Ditto - I beat the game and I got all the medals except the first two - the 10-pointers, "Feed 50" and "Complete Level 1". Those didn't unlock for me.

Firstly, I'm assuming we all realize that "Glutton" is actually eat 10 chickens, the description for Glutton and Banker are reversed.
Secondly, No, I haven't gotten that one. Supposedly you can get some of the other "in one round" medals by collecting, dying, retrying until you have it. I can attest, however, that that method did not work on chicken eating.

Yep, you have to eat 10 chickens in 1 level without dying. The easiest way for me was to do it on day 3. The enemies are fairly easy to beat and there are quite a few of them. Remember what the last wave of enemies in that particular day is, so you know if you are going to make it (because if you beat a level, you can't restart it, you have to start a new game). It's basically a luck involved medal, just slay the enemies, hope they drop some food, and after a few tries you should get to 10.

Hmmph. I'm stumped on getting gold on level 4. Even if I don't miss any bombs, the car explodes at 1:06, while gold timing is 1:02. Any ideas, folks? (Could use help on the last 2 secret medals too)
