Bad nightmares of playing Knightfall are all coming back... and 4 or 5 medals worth 100? gonna be tough.

One stupid thing about that game is that if you have no moves left, they don't give you an option to use your specials at the bottom. Extremely annoying, especially since I was saving up that "delete three rows" for when I got stuck..

If I recall, it's for fully loading the game (that or just opening the game). If you haven't done that, I presume that someone has popped onto your computer and done so, or that someone has hacked your account in a malicious attempt to obtain medals for you so that you never get the chance!

Indeed. Perhaps you [LiquidOoze] should take a look at the medal list using an alt account, so you can verify that what we speak is the truth. Alternatively, I'm sure you could find a fair few Newgrounds regulars who do not yet own the medal, despite you saying that it unlocks for visiting Newgrounds.
Also, I have confirmed that the medal is unlocked once the game has loaded up 100% (rather than on opening the game). My slow internet connection allowed me to do this at great ease -_-

How do you quickly fill the black and grey bottles on the far right? I get that the others fill with colour and I presumed these were skulls and bombs? But it doesn't seem to work that way.

Detonating bombs fills the black meter, destroying skulls fills the white. They just take ages to fill.

I am not going to enjoy this game...

How many goldfish are there in FISHBANE? I've got 136 in my aquarium, and as far as I know I've collected them all, but at the end of the Journal I stil see '5 goldfish left'.

Scratch that - you're missing a level. The last 5 are in Learn To Fly. I forget how to unlock it, but I'm sure there's a medal guide kicking around somewhere.
