Yes... In fact every one of them is broken at this time. Before when the medals were zero points it worked very well.

Practise practise practise... I didn't bother going for any of the other medals until I got that one. Had 2000 gems by that time so the other medals were easy. Saving gems works well for getting points too, although your deaths may negate a large portion of that.
Tactic:
I sat on the middle ladder shooting left, dodging up and down when he did the angle fireballs. Spend enough time and you can take out 3 eyes doing this. The other two require you to go out and dodge more often... Just don't be afraid to fall down the holes (clear out the purple eyes first of course) when you have no other option, it's not like his HP resets or anything.
Another useful tip, after you stun him with the tentacles, don't hit his brain, you will get an extended time to shoot at him while he stands still for you. Can't really confirm that it is longer than hitting his brain, but I couldn't stand the paused gameplay; it always killed me.

What level were you when you beat the Floating Head? I still can't do it at 32. And do you wanna write a walkthrough for getting Haruka to love you? I'm sure I tried all the conversation options already (yeah, about 12 playthroughs) and gone on 2 dates with her. Do I need 99999 gold to take her to the tower or something?

I'm having trouble on beating the boss in CatGame, does anyone have any tips on killing him? I've fully upgraded everything but his attacks are too damn fast for me to counter on, the only way for me to damage him is by hitting the hairballs that he spits out. :s

I think PsychoGoldfish recently made it so that a game's medals will only show up if at least one user has obtained medals for the game.

For the floating head I was over level 50, with a total of over 100 ATK. Best place to grind is on the island.
You only need 5,000 to set up a date at the tower, but I didn't go there when I first got the medal. I don't think it matters where you take her for a date, but I could be wrong.
And I'm not sure how I got that medal, or the exact criteria for it. It was just dumb luck for me.
Can confirm all of the sketchbook medals work. Took me two playthroughs. Some awesome art in there, especially the swords.

Wow.. This post made me feel like i've missed so much in that game. How do you get to the island?! I thought it was just impossible.

The address is 536 Rataan Way, in the town of Rataan. I believe this address is given to you after your first encounter with the Three Guardsmen there. There are other addresses you can find - two of them are found in the files, in the Extra's page of the main menu, that are unlocked by doing certain challenges in the games.
