Pro-tip: Turrets are next to useless. They help some times, but by the time enemies are swarming in endlessly they lose their utility.
It's not that hard to Lone Wolf it; Raise your speed first with Health taking almost equal priority. Attack comes in handy during the later stages, when guns do negligible damage. Try and max out your jump stat, though simply raising it til you can reach the ceiling is fine too.
Shotguns are the best weapon, with grenade launchers following. These are great crowd control weapons, whereas machine guns are best used from the ceiling to rain death upon your enemies. The pistol is worthless, but even more so the flame thrower, which has bad range and has a small start-up lag.
End-game, your fist will be your best weapon, able to take out multiple foes and do great damage if you raised your attack high enough. Don't use it exclusively though, it has no range. Use it to move around the stage while jumping.
The zombie portions are remarkably simple as long as your attack is a high enough level. Even without the attack buff, as long as you time your punches, you should be fine. Not even Tricky is a challenge if you take his weapon away.
The hydraulic parts are bizarre. If you have a gun, you want to be on the ceiling, raining death upon your enemies. Being on the ground is just asking for trouble. Still, with high enough health, this game should not be a challenge at all.
