He had me remove them to hide the secret medals before launch.

As to those other games, they have all had their medals approved but due to some bugs in the actionscript 3 api they never got their api id in synch with their portal id (this is the bug I was fixing that ended up causing all these issues).

it seems like a few people decided to try the medals api and gave up without actually making them work... so I had a boneriffic idea. I'm gonna add an update later where medals will not show at all for games unless they have at least 1 medal unlocked by a user.

You can skip levels with no loss the the ending you get. So really its not hard to complete. As such. It would be hard to do it without skipping or dying loads though

In epic battle fantasy 3 im going for the scan all foes medal but I forgot to scan the first boss. Will I ever get another chance or is it destined to be?

Anyone got a technique for the skeleton cat mini game (the fourth one i think) I cant even come close to 160 (129 is my best so far) Is there a pattern or anything to make this easier?

Ah, knew there was some sort of explanation for all those broken medal games appearing at once. The update sounds like a good idea. That would weed out the games where all its medals are broken (like -Blind- and Morplee), however you would still be left with the problem of games with some functioning medals and one or more broken medals as well (like Harry Stick Journey and Fig.8).

If it's anything like the 2nd one, those scans will still be there when you play the game a second time.

Try reducing the graphic quality to low. that can speed things up. there's also a video in the official walk-through that shows it being done.

You can always beat the game and replay it back to the first boss.

use as many positive buffs as you can on yourself, Dispel him always when he has buffs, and get rid of the Holy and Bolt Runes.

Here it is. Also, appropriate credit is given there to BlueTheReptar, whose video came before mine, because I used his video to get the solutions to a couple of the rooms. Speedrun time would probably be about 20 seconds faster than my video, but I'll let someone else worry about that.

Thanks for all of the work on fixing things. Surely this will help out the more casual medal point earners too.

The author of SHIFT 4 says he's uploaded a new medals-fixed version of the game. Can someone go in and verify whether the medals work? If not, someone should make a post in the Broken Medals thread to indicate that the author has uploaded a new version of the game that's awaiting admin approval.

nope. they're broken like ALL THE REST OF THE GAME.

I've killed a few adult Narcolyxii in it and I haven't gotten any medal. And the game got too glitchy for me to bother trying to get to the boss.

Actually it is quite the other way around. I've scored well over 400 points for it several times, but the medal never registered. In fact, someone has left a review stating how they have scored over 900 points for it and the owner of the game has told me that it is possible as well.

Well, i don't think it matters any more as PG's last update means the game is no longer on the games with medals list and its medals are no longer visible on the portal. I still don't get how you got scores that high though. I couldn't get more than 2 or 3 hundred and I was pretty sure I was breaking bottles as fast as they were regenerating.

If the medals are indeed broken PG's update should have made them invisible. That means either PG's last update isn't working correctly or at least 1 person has at least 1 of the medals. The author doesn't have any of them and none of the top ranking medal getters I checked have them either.
