Yeah, I got really lucky because I managed to find it out WHILE I was playing, so I could simply wait and get the medal the lazy man's way :P

I played Doom for SNES, but I looked at the controls in this and couldn't find the run. And if I remember, I did try holding shift but didn't notice it going any faster. But I'll go do it now. I figured there was a run or a jump (like in DN or something =/), but I couldn't find it.

Now I'm stuck on the part with the falling pillars and the red key in the middle. I really suck at these games sometimes.

That part was annoying, but not that hard. Just wait till one of the pillar falls, then go against it, and run as soon as it allows you to. To bring down the central pillar holding the key, just look for the cross on the floor, and run straight over it to the yellow door.

No I think you can only have 1 bullet on the screen at the same time, so when you're shooting at targets far away you won't be able to shoot for a while. When you shoot at targets close by it looks like you're firing a machine gun.

Yeah, that was it. And that does kind of suck. Especially since they start to move extremely fast (especially with a ton of tombstones on the map). And it's almost impossible to clear any tombstone that aren't touching you in the later levels.

the game went crazy on me and the centipede started not running into the tombstones and just running off the side of the level and then the level would increase by one. it made it super easy since I didn't have to worry about getting killed by them, but it was a pretty crazy bug. No idea what caused it, I had played a few times before and nothing weird happened and I don't think anything differently happened. Also, the secret medals are awesome.

That seemed like it would have helped. Got the 100k medal. I saw a neon gun at the top near a bunch of tombstones, but there was no way I could get it. It's not in the image though. I almost crapped my pants when I got to 95k with 2 lives left. I almost thought I wouldn't make it because everything eas going so fast and there were so many tombstones.

Who needs Monster Time score medals?

I think it's an item that only appears further on in the levels? It's the only medal I have left. I'll get it some other time. I don't know if it's going to be easy if it appears around level 13, which is where I first saw it.

like 346 or something like that :P. The cops started moving so fast that I couldn't kill them, so it took me forever to get that medal. The neon gun spawns on some of the higher levels, but then it stops spawning all together after some point. I forget when exactly it stops, but I don't think it really matters, since probably nobody is good enough to get that far if the game doesn't glitch.

Like them or not, I have to say that his games are hard in the cheap way (more spam, you have to be incredibly lucky and/or perfectionist to win etc.)..apart from Anrgy Smashfest, which was really easy, the rest of his games make me raeg every time I try to get their medals >:

I like his games, I just don't like the retro controls that he implements into them. I grew up playing these types of arcade games, and I can tell you that the controls were appropriate for the time due to crappy programing and extent of the technology. Today, it's painful to play these games, and game that try to mimic them, because, let's face it, there are a lot better ways to make a game enjoyable, and easy to play.

I don't know if it's just me, but when playing his newest game I have a hard time judging where to hit because of the way the character fires from his right side. It just irritates me, more than the fire delay.

I finally got all the medals, expect for one of the secret ones - and I think you get that when you find a certain object.

Anyway, the easiest way to get up to 100,000 points is just to keep the lower half of the screen clear of tombstones. This will make the centipede gang travel more across the screen. I usually kill all of them except for one, waiting till it reaches the bottom and begins to go back up before killing it. It allows more cops, police cars, scalpels/needles, and roofies to apear, which are where the real points are made in the game.

The speedy pedey medal can easily be obtained in the early levels. They are the ones that appear when the last of the links reaches the bottom of the screen, and go really fast across the screen - I think.

The rest of the medals are self explanatory, and can easily be obtained by doing the above prescribed.

Always watch the side of the screen, and keep some distance from it when you can. Wait till they jump high before trying to kill them. Only one cop shows up at a time, so use this to your advantage.

Yeah, I've seen it 3 times now, after playing it several more times. It seems to show up often on level 13. I was close to getting it on my first try, I had a clear shot and fired at it, then I got hit by a cop as the bulet was less than a couple of tombstones away from it. @#%! The other two times I had the same problem as you with too many tombstones in the way.

IMO late game (level >15) the cops are actually your friends, clearing the very low-level tombstones so you don't get overcrowded too quickly. At this point everything moves so fast anyway, and I usually wait for the cop to almost go off-screen before going after it.

I finally got the laser gun, it appears to charge up for a bit before firing a huge fat laser. Not really sure, I had cornered myself trying to get it and I died less than 3 secs later.

But I got the medals, had a 129k high score (name:VVV), so I'm done. Something about the ass and mouth in this game doesn't agree with me too well.

My name is NS on it. I've seen the gun a slew of times, but have not been lucky enough to get it. Getting over 100K was enough of a pain. I'm going to wait a while before I try to get the gun.

Getting up to the 20th level, I can't tell you how much I disagree with that statement. They get in your way. They box you in - especially when they linger. They come out without warning, and the higher the level, the faster they shoot right at you. Whatever small benefits they may give you, it's drowned out by all the negatives.

...and I still haven't gotten the gun.
