However I tried this on the sixth day and didn't get a medal, but on the seventh day I left a keg back and waited for Doug so I could smash his face in - and once I beat him up I got the medal.
Previously I'd done the same for the sixth and seventh days but lost some ale on the fourth day, so I do think it means not losing any till you get the medal, and it also seems to require you to actually let Doug try and drink your ale.

The other medal is still a bitch though, Doug is just impossible to beat in the later levels if you have more than 3 kegs, and you HAVE to have more than 3 kegs to earn 2000 dollars...

Just the ones I know...

Frenchy Fist Fight
Beginner - Kill Frenchy once
Serial Killer - kill Frenchy 25 times

Button Game
Starter - Beat Level 1
Main Course - Beat level 1-3
Poopie - Make Citty poop
Saza's on his own - Defeat Saza's minion

Dodge the Bacon!
WUSS - Get a game over
Beginner - Beat level 1
Killer - Beat the final boss

meda1
A Star - Get a highest grade ( possibly 2000 points or more)
Tabber - hit the tab key during the game.

There could be more of them, but they're not exactly high on my list to find.

It doesn't make any sense to me that Professional should work for some people but not for others. I've sent a message to the programmer asking if he's done anything, and telling him what's been going on in the thread here.

Also, can someone tell me definitively what the requirements for the Perfect Run medal are?

I think I have to call shenanigans on these medals being fixed. It doesn't make any sense that Professional would work for some people and not for others, and I just did the following on Doug-Out without getting Perfect Run:

Beat Doug on 8, 9, 10 without losing ale
Avoided him on 11, 12 (and thus didn't lose ale)
Beat Doug on 13 without losing ale

I'm certain I'm not using a cached version of the file, because it took the time to load it from the website.

I beat level 7 without losing ale on any level prior to that. I was expecting it at the end of day 6, but I didn't. I only got it on the end of 7.

It is a bitch of a medal though. If your barrel is at the end of the room you will most likely lose that first bit of ale.

Oh, were you memorized by the nipple? :P

After touching his sumptuous nipple you come to a wordy screen. There's a hidden button in the lower right corner. Click it to move onto the next screen.

On the next screen, ignore all that shit and press the small red button in the upper right corner.

On this one you'll see what appears to be a orange tabby cat with black stripes . Click on his groin to activate a minigame.... Now, I don't think I need to explain what you have to do to win at this game, so I'll just go onto the next section.

The next few screens are just pressing the right images: Select 2, click hair till gone, click robot, select 6, click robot.

After this point there are no more medals that I'm aware of, but if you have the burning desire to finish the game you can find out... or, you can just press tab. :3

So basically you're saying if you lose any ale within the first 5 days, you may as well start over. And since the first day is the hardest of those not to lose any ale on, odds are there will be a lot of tutorial screens in my future. Fabulous.

on the first day just go into the back right away and stay there until the day ends. BTW, I haven't been able to get the medal even doing exactly what others said they did multiple times (stay in back until day 5/6, then on day 6/7 smack doug until he leaves without losing any ale. Not sure what I'm doing wrong...

I just got the medal, and I've updated my Doug-Out guide with how to get the Perfect Run medal. The new text reads:

The actual requirements are different. What you actually need to do in order to get this medal is to fight off Doug on a level past day 5, having not lost any ale up to that point! So if you lose any ale to him at all within the first 5 levels, you're going to have a lot of tutorial screens in your future. The most sure-fire way to get this medal is to exhaust your first barrel on day 1, and then walk to the back room and wait for the day to end. On day 2, refill your barrel and give out 3 or 4 drinks, then walk to the back room and wait for the day to end. Starting on day 3 keep the front barrel full and one barrel in the back, then hand out about 3 drinks, then go to the back and refill your keg, to avoid Doug entirely. On day 6, anticipate when he will appear (estimated times are above), and go back and forth between the front and the back room (but not all the way to the front; just alternate clicking on either side and let your dude get dizzy) until he shows up. Fend him off, and you will receive the medal.

What an annoying medal... and what an annoying game too...

That's pretty much what I did, Chris, and it worked.

One observation though, he usually shows up after the 2 hour mark - minus the 1st day. And I found that placing a 2nd barrel in back, and using up the farthest one at the start of the day, helps to put Doug in a more conveient spot to bash.

I've actually found that which barrel he's coming out of doesn't affect how long it takes for McCreedy to hit him at all. It's just really, really, really fucking annoying that he shows no sense of urgency at all, and takes about an hour and a half to refill the keg, and another half hour to get to the back. Everything else aside, that is my biggest pet peeve regarding that game.

And now I will never play it again.

I just did the perfectionist run this past week. PAIN IN THE BEHIND. Took all week. You literally have to do the entire Fig 8 run without crashing once. Good luck! When the board zooms up close, there are many times you don't know where to go at first as no path is obvious, and by the time you figure it out, it's too late. Lots of course memorization.
Professional still does not work. Who on earth gets perfectionist before getting the 100x award? You can get 100x within the first 30 seconds of the game.

You are aware there are Perfectionist videos on YouTube, and that you can pause your run to go look at the correct route as you play to make sure you get it right, yes?

It would make sense for someone who doesn't know you gain multipliers by grinding against buildings. It's certainly possible to finish the game without reaching a 100x multiplier; as soon as I break my first multiplier, usually around x650, I stop caring about my multiplier entirely and just play for safety. Though having the game say I hit that D at the top of the right-hand curve when I most certainly missed it was kind of the last straw for me for playing on Sunday night/Monday morning.

As for Professional, I'm still waiting to hear back from the game's programmer as to whether he's done anything with it.

You make a good point. The "grinding" multiplier was obvious to me, but maybe it wasn't to others. I will not play this game again until you or queen verifies it's fixed. I don't need another "Shift 4" situation where people keep saying its fixed, resulting in me beating it 5 times with no medals to show for it. Thanks for following up with the programmer.

I should totally be made a "follow up with programmers over broken medals in their medal games" mod. I mean, hey, I succeeded at pestering JAZZA and fucrate to fix medals in Doug-Out and EON... so why not?

Why not indeed....actually, once the system is no longer in beta, there will definitely be medal mods because PG and Tom can't do everything once any random idiot can put medals in their games/movies...

Oh god, I did that one a while while back. Well, I almost did it. Fortunately It didn't take me all that long, it took about one night of practice to get a really good run, but my attention began to wander at the very end and I fucked in the last section when you pretty much have a straight shot to the finish. Pissed me off something fierce. I don't imagine I'll be playing that one again anytime soon.

I hope it never "leaves" beta status. There will be no quality control, and we already have a few problems with people abusing the medal API and many problems with broken medals. It should be reserved for those who can prove that their submission is worth it.
Just my opinion anyway.

Doesn't someone from NG (PG, I'm looking at you) have to approve medals before they become active or some such? Only approved flash shows up on the games with medals page, as far as I know, though somehow that shitty skateboard video is there with two of them.

Every single NG game with medals DOES have to be approved, so I also have no idea what that skating movie is doing in that list. I remember a little rumor that the medal API is coming out soon, so maybe they were just thinking "Hey, what the hell, the API is coming out soon anway, might as well give this guy the medal API now".

Really? I never been able to get him in the far corner, no matter how fast and accurate I am... And Yeah, I also done with the game. Way to many problems in it...

I just started playing Sonny 2 again, after a 2 month hiatus from it. I now remember why I stopped playing it. It's hard, it takes forever to defeat anything in it, and it's gameplay elements are way to complex and tedious to be fun. It doesn't help that each enemy encounter is like a fucking boss battle, where some of them you have to reset your skill tree just to have a chance to effectively fight them. That's not to metion the only control you have over your NPC is to set them to agresive, or passive, durring the battle. Getting them to work together as a team on selected character is near impossible to do, since random and attacking the weakest enemy is all you get from them. Such tedious work for so little. The only 3 medals I can hope to do are only worth a total of 85 points. The medal worth are way to low in this game for the amount of shit you have jump through to get them.

Did you just decide to play it and then got it? Or were you fooling around for awhile with it? I just played two rounds in it and nothing.

And how the Hell did you get the "Go home" medal in Lastaman. Last I looked, the requirement was to finish the game by beating the bug for the 1st medal, then go back to the house for the other. You somehow got those two medals backwards for it.

Pity. Sonny 2 is an unbelievably good game. Having the right skill set and respec-ing for each fight is the core of the game, spend some time to get it right. Armor games used to have a dedicated forum to the game, but now it's all linked up here. A general tip is to focus on defense on your allies (they're usually too dumb to attack the guy you want them to) and be the killing machine yourself.
