It happened to me as well. I got a 100+ streak, but no medal. However, I did it again at my next concert and I got it, so no problem. Just imagine if this glitch happens when you get a 500+ streak :(

it's also didn't give me the 100 note streak, and I achieved it several times.

This game sucks so bad, there's really no redeeming qualities about it. It's just very very tedious, concerts take too long, and every song sounds almost the same. Just a very long, very boring game. Even the composer is stupid, and it doesn't even sound as good as punk o matic 1.

Very disappointed, not sure if I'm going to ever going to get all the medals for this game. Probably my least favorite medal game that has come out so far - and I like rhythm games too, Incubus Pulsum is one of my favorite games on newgrounds.

I don't see how any one who can appreciate flash game design can say that game sucks. It's incredibly feature filled and the polish is certainly there. I didn't try the rhythm game portion yet, but that's not what punk o matic is about.

im a big fan of POM1... i can see alot of time has been put into the game... but im finding it way to complexed and repeative... INSANE IS BLOOD IMPOSSIBLE!!!... how on earth is a normal mundane guy like me going to even get 10% of the notes... not to mention the about of lag i get even when i have all the effects turned off... serious problem... games that require timing like this also require fluidness so you are able to play the game... i know my computer sucks big time... but im doing all i can to make it run smoother... :S...

also... its going to take me days to get anywhere at this rate... theres no way im going to play the game on a insane difficulty... your going to have to play the same songs again and again to get anywhere... i know you can learn more... but it just takes way to long... might be beacuse im doing 3 songs per play... but still...

Also as a side note... can you make your own song... with one person to whom plays none *or a single* note... go on insane... and play a gig and get perfect?... just a though... :D

You can compose your own song where you just play the same note over and over and over and over and over again (use the selection tool to do this quickly), and then just save three different copies of your song and there you go. All three songs are easy 100% perfects. Bout to go off and do this myself right now.

Actually, I did compose three really easy songs. One is under 1 minute long. And you don't have to play 3 songs at a concert (well, you have to if you are aiming for the "play 3 perfect songs at a concert" achievement of course), so all you guys have to do is to compose a short song and only play that one song per concert.

But how anyone can say that this game "sucks dog balls" is beyond me. Sure, it's repetitive and the lag is annoying. But this game is far from "sucking dog balls". Punk-o-matic is more about composing songs, the "carreer mode" is just a nice little extra. But the composing is awesomely complex and very good.

If you are a medal whore with OCD that has to get every medal in every stupid game... well, then that's tough luck for you guys, but hardly the designers fault.

the thing is, I have actual music editing software that far surpasses this game; so that's not what I'm looking for. The beauty in punk o matic 1 was the simplicity, being more complicated here is a flaw not a strength.

and concert mode is just boring and not that good. They author obviously put a lot of thought and effort into it, and it is impressive - but it's not fun because they missed the mark with the overall concept of the game.

haha yeah i'm only 5 points behind now. I'm sure I will probably get another 100 points in that game or something if I bother to play it. But i'm falling behind in my courses (unix is gay and so are mainframes) so I won't be playing much in the next week or two.

It's true, concerts are tedious, and most songs are boring because of the lack of the sniger, but, fun-wise, this game is great.
Unfortunately, the awesomer your custom song is, the impossibler (lolfail) it gets...unless you compose boring-ass songs, but in that case, it ain't awesome (hurr durr).
Thank god the game doesn't have any medals that have to do with "drums", "100%" and "top difficulty".

It's pretty good, but it suggests taking the really, really boring way to get the medals....I mean, playing the same song more than 200 times?Ugh...

Yeah, seems as if those medals are a bit glitched. Guess I just got lucky I got both of them the first time I played. Hopefully the glitch doesn't affect the 500 streak medal as well. That would suck should I ever decide to go for that medal only to discover I didn't earn it. -_-

game is really well made and runs perfectly for me but despite that i hate it and most rhythm games i might just end up skipping all these medals

play "guitar 2" and just hit up(easy and normal), even on insane all you have to do is hit up and down at the same time! slow pace, sufficient notes, and barely over a minute, if you play perfect on insane at the park you gain 2500 fans. quick and painless.

Anyone got any tricks for beating cover songs on insane, i have 11 cover songs, and can not get any further. even with little lag I can't beat songs past easy. this game blows overall, insane mode is retarded, it's one thing when all the notes are coming from the top of the screen and down towards you. but in a 3in diameter 6 notes is impossible to read

i absolutely CANNOT play Punk-o-matic with all that lag. seriously, everytime i miss a note, i've the lag to blame. hope this is getting fixed.

Same here, lag is very hard to work around. But how is this game 31 MB? One thing that probably added several MB is that for every single sound, he has a tab to go with it (as in guitar tab, so you could play the song in real life). And yes, the ice cream man song was awesome! :D

Yep, it's definitely the music.The game itself wouldn't be more than 1 MB without the sound...the wierdest thing is that the game lags on some specific parts, and not necessarily the most "resource heavy"...
It still managed to lag during a song even after I turned off fucking everything....they have to do something about it :(

It's not a bad idea at all, but I got sick of it after so many concerts :( ....also, when I played it at the concert hall, max.difficulty, 3 songs , all perfect, and the guy says I've barely paid the place....wtf?
