Honestly I don't see what HeavyTank did as wrong. In fact, it changed nothing for me. I still played the game. I still enjoyed it.

well, some secret medals are a lot tougher to figure out than others are. for instance, some games get medals right off the bat while others get medals sometime later. for the games that get medals later, usually people have played them first and by the time the medals come, they might have a better idea of how to get the secret medal, whereas if a game comes fresh out and theres a secret medal, depending on the game itself, it is going to be more difficult to figure it out. I do agree that people shouldnt give the exact details on how to get the secret medal, but maybe just give a hint of some sort without it being too obvious. usually for me, if a game has a secret medal, i just play the game normally first, keeping on the lookout for any suspicious areas or things or whatnot, and then once ive gotten the rest of the medals that i can get, i try to go for the secret one. and if i cant get it even then, thats when i start looking for a hint that someone might have given out.

spiff is the only one who has it I think. I've spent a few hours trying too. I got 5 once or twice, but that was it. Going to keep trying, but not tonight. I think it's possible, but just requires insane luck to have all the pieces be exactly where you need them.

Waynerz has it too. The fucker has the leet medal which I have no patience for whatsoever. I got REALLY lucky with that one. Unfortunately it gave me some bug in mid air and that's how I got the 6th jump, cause I swear I only did 5.

I put that disclaimer in my TOC as an encouragement to guide writers not to reveal secrets as the whole fun of a secret is the secrecy. But I don't actively go after the writers to remove their secrets from their guides. If a guide maker feels like he wants to reveal the secret its up to them to ruin the fun for everyone else. However, if I am given several walkthroughs for one game, I am more partial to the one without a secret revealed.

Oh and I will delete reviews if they have secrets in them.

I posted how I did it a few pages back. Using the side of the blocks fallen already and blocks that were currently falling.

Also, I played tetris'd for a while before it got medals and enjoyed it, so the 1337 medal wasn't as hard as it seems. I'd probably put it up there in the top 10, but not top 5 hardest.

Also, I pm'd 4/5 staff members today about having shift 4 medals removed. Hopefully that gets done and I can retain my number 1 spot on not only nglogs, but NG's skewed "remove whichever broken medals we feel like it" system.

Pretty sure that if they removed Shift 4 form the system, the only medal you'd have up on me is Fig 8's "Professional". Which also just so happens to be broken.

hey i just had a slight problem with alice is dead 2 on my first playthrough the hatter mad medal popped up and didn't register, so i went back and tried the opposite it it didn't register. I took it out of pop-up mode and just played it in the normal screen and got them both fine..

Uh, correct me if l'm wrong, but revealing secrets in a review is perfectly legal and according to the reivew guidelines, so you shouldn't do it...I mean, l thought mods had to follow pretty much the same rules about deleting reviews, no?

I know how to use the button you find! Its kinda useless but goto the end of the game (you know were you find the machine) and select the button and then click on the machine...

Yeah, I've been updating my walkthrough since the game came out.

If you guys hame anything else to add about the game, Pm me or comment and I put it in my guide.

Really enjoyed that blasting agent game. Not too easy, not too hard. Hopefully the game gets a resend button for the medals, but if not, I guess I wouldn't mind playing it again.

I didn't feel any pain playing it. And if you played through it knowing there would be no medals, I don't think you did either lol.

Although I didn't get 100% on the last two levels on hard, must have missed something that time around. Doesn't seem like there are anymore people to kill or more gold to collect, I think it's just harder to kill them so i'm not sure why i missed the last two levels..

There's a couple of "hidden" places that you probable missed. the main one that I missed for the longest time is on level 3, the last BIG part where you can't climb back to the first door after you jump down, has some breakable walls on the left where you come in, shoot those and there's gold and enemies behind it for you to get 100%

Also, yeah, l liked the game, and one of the things that made me like it was the fact that you can continue as many times as you want without losing any medals, points, credits, or whatever...

Just to go back to this game for a bit, for anyone still struggling with the speed run medals (first half under 20, second half under 20, whole thing under 19), I found it really helped my time to turn the quality down to low, even though I didn't think I was getting a performance hit from playing in high quality. I just went back and played the game over again, and improved my times on every single level by anywhere from 6 to 18 seconds. My new best times are below, and you can compare them to my high quality best times about 2/3 the way down

So if you're having difficulty with those speed run medals, even if you think your system's performing fine with that game, give it another shot at low quality. You may be pleasantly surprised. I'd imagine the same would hold true for other speed run medals in other games also, but I haven't tested thoroughly.
