That made me mad. I did the game on a different computer which I no longer have access to. So if I wish to ever get those 25 points when it's fixed, I will have to repeat the game.
As for all this stuff about Ching Chong and times. I don't doubt that people can do amazingly good, because I didn't go back and beat levels after I tried them. Nor did a few others. I didn't want to. And to be honest, it doesn't matter much. It's achievement enough just to finish hard mode.
To those who did cheat to do so, I do feel as if they did lessen what needed to be done to actually beat it. Because the boxes do play a major role in time consumption. But it's not that huge of a deal to me. I don't know how many people beat hard mode as of yet, but I would venture to guess around 20? And since I have read here that the glitch was fixed, it's all good.
But anyway, I am pretty much done playing the game. I got all the trophies, medals, and spent many hours on it. I was also the first person to get all the medals :). I doubt I will be able to say that about any other game in the future that requires this amount of skill and motivation to do so. Overall it was a pretty fun game. It was a good feeling once I finally completed it after investing that much time into it.

Ugh, please don't say that, you never know what developers might come up with next...
You thought you ever had a close call? I managed to do the amazing feat of high-fiving the red guy at exactly 00:00:00 time left on level 5-5 on hard. Unfortnalately it decided that I was dead and I I didn't get level complete. If you look at the picture you can see him high-fiving the red guy. Oh man, so little time left on 5-5.

holy shit, and i thought that i got it bad enough by dying 1 inch away from the red guy multiple times.
good luck, pal. you're gonna need it.
also, i think i'll give up on hard mode unless someone with questionable sanit- i mean, a lot of guts decides to do a video walkthrough of every single level on hard.

Bad luck mate...although this means that you can do it, even if by a VERY close call...
Also, l managed to get Testosterowned (Armed Prophet: beat any stage on Real Man) on my second try...zombie stage, cyber blade. It was, to my amazement, VERY easy to do.
Leaving a game for some time and then playing again is a great way to get medals you missed (or couldn't obtain).

That is all. Game on.
Anyone have tips on Ching Chong Beautiful level 6 (end) Hard Mode? Those pink pegs always kill me; I either hit my head on them or land on them.
Near the top of the tower, is it necessary to wall jump off of them? And if so what part of the toon should be making contact with it?
Sooo close to that last medal....

1. One of the Skill Challenges for The Gun Game shows up differently for me than it does for the video walkthrough I saw. I've already tried clearing my cache. What do I do?
2. I got Superior Iron Axe (100 damage) on the first region of Dragon Boy. Is this a glitch or something? I've been annihilating everything in my path.
3. Also from Dragon Boy, I can't beat the final boss, and I'd like to know what reasonable standards are for him. Looks like if I want to beat Hard Mode I'd better train up even if I could beat him anyway, but I'd still like to know.
> My current level is 33, with Superior Iron Axe (100), Ezekiel's Mask (250 Life, 10 Defense, 1 Drain), Deadly Mace (40), Gauntlets (24 Damage, .3 Double Damage, 5% Defense, 10 Life), Leather Armor of Life (10 Defense, 20 Life, .04 Speed), War Boots (2 Speed).

Any particular things I should go for? Any particular items or farming/grinding spots?

At first I thought I had to do pinpoint timing to hit the pink dot so the toon goes through it/hops around it because thats how I did it in normal, but I guess your way is easier :)
Finally completed Ching Chong Beautiful on Hard. Now I'll never ever touch that game again. The final level wasn't very hard compared to some of the Colosseum levels. Time to start playing some of the boring games I've been saving.
Yehaa, just managed to beat CCB..on Easy, and without getting any platinums...and got absolutely no medal for it..
I thought l was at least gonna get that medal with the horse...bah, screw this.

Haha, I tried that the first few times too until I found out by accident that you can do it without touching the pinky thingies :D

You beat 3 of 6 levels on easy and want a medal for it? Come on... Horse medals are only for people who beat the Seppuku Tower. Did I mention the ending scene is totally worth playing that game? It's effing hilarious :D

A 25 point medal should be awarded to whoever beats the game, on any difficulty, don't you think? It's not the easiest game ever...and l beat 15 levels, not 3.Also, no cutscene will EVER be worth beating this game on Hard...at least, not for me.
Ugh...apparently my cookies got deleted (and l didn't do it), so l lost ALL my save game data, including CCB and Level Up!..Well, l remember that when l finished it, the game gave me a code to load my game...l still have that code, but l don't know where do l avhe to put it...any ideas?

Sorry, I meant 3 of 6 worlds. Still, you already got a friggin medal for beating the tutorial. Do you want a medal for loading the game? For finding your trophy room? Medals are achievements, you get them for beating challenges, for overcoming obstacles. Beat all easy levels with gold time and you get a medal. My mother could do that.

The code is for the upcoming Level Up! sequel, not for the game itself. So you probably have no other choice than start again from the beginning.

Then your mother must be a pretty good gamer...seriously, we know you're good, but stop bragging like that.
Beating the game is not as easy as finding the trophy room (and some gives give you medals for just about everything you do)...

I'm not bragging, at least I'm not intending to. That game isn't as hard as you say, an average gamer can easily beat normal mode. Maybe not with all gold, but still. It seems it just isn't your type of game, why don't you just play something else and stop saying it sucks? Just because you're not good at a game doesn't mean it sucks.

Pff, the fact that l'm not good at it never infulenced my judgment...even if it was twice as easy, l would still say it's a bad game..kinda like Bomb Diggity.I guess it's a matter of personal opinion, but stop attacking me just because l am saying that this game sucks...and sure, l'll play something else, now that l've lost my save game l have no intention of starting over..
In my opinion the average gamer can beat normal mode. Since it is not timed at all. As for getting golds, that is another matter.
This game was fun. Aside from a few glitches, it is a pretty good game in my opinion.
My advice to you is to go ahead and start a new game on normal mode. Since all you have to do is beat normal mode for all the easy medals. Doing so will earn you two other medals.
And about level up, that kind of sucks. I had no clue that code was for the next level. My current game is 39.7% because I got the one day achievement =/. 4 minutes away from the nightmare too.

Hmm, well, l needed to start a new game sooner or later to beat the game without sleeping, but l wanted to beat Nightmare with 4 hearts before that..oh well.I also had a pretty hard time finding the last gems, but luckily l managed to do it thanks to a comment in the walkthrough...as soon as l got the last gem the screen was filled with medals :D

You sure do whine a lot, don't you? I can't get any of the Bomb Diggity medals, but you didn't see me bitching about it like this when the game came out. Not every game is easy for every person. Ching Chong Beautiful is a great concept and for the most part very well coded. I'm guessing you haven't seen a lot of Japanese game shows? Trust me, it's just about faithful to them. That's why it's so funny.
And yes, any competent gamer can defeat Normal mode to get the 25pt completion medal. There's no time limit, so all it takes is patience. My bad initial runs with many restarts came out to a total of 42 minutes or so, over a playtime of just under 2 hours, which I've since improved upon down to the mid-30s as I moved my Bronzes and Silvers to Gold in tiers 1 and 2. With no time limit and no death you're basically guaranteed completion as long as you keep playing. This is a game that happens to be frustrating when you're not used to it, and there's nothing wrong with that.
If you don't like the game, that's your choice, nobody's forcing you. Just don't complain to us about it. Tell us you don't like it precisely once, maybe explain why, and leave it at that.
Deploy the... it's a yellow button... it's usually flashing... it makes the engines go... whoosh!
ZOMG i did it! and that just cost a few muscles!

Whereas Bomb Diggity is downright ridicolous to control and the character seems to have an agenda of it's own and it's obvious so by faulty programming Ching Chong Beautiful is very nicely programmed with only a few occasional minor bugs. All that is required is a little patience. I hated that dumb retard in the beginning and I got bronze on about 70% of the maps on normal mode on my first playthrough. But I kept on playing and had some patience and I began to see how the game works. It's not a bad game, it just got a slightly steeper learning curve than your typical platformer. I'd suggest you to give it a try and have patience, although possibly skipping Hard Mode some levels are really bad.

not exactly a glitch. considering your medals, i'd say you're still on easy, right? you probably just got a little lucky. ENJOY IT.

Any particular things I should go for? Any particular items or farming/grinding spots?
Shrum sensation is a good grinding level if you're fast enough. also, you made a mistake when you leveled up frozen armor before rate, as this last one increases slightly all of your spells. go grind a bit more, until you get, let's say, 4 rate and 5 mystic orb. since i don't remember the items that are unlocked in the final levels, i can't help you much here. but i'd say go to the blacksmith and find a better mace AND axe (with more special stuff, such as kickback and drain). don't bother TOO much with damage.
to beat the boss, kill the knight without making the king follow you. then slowly approach him until the mage's orbs can attack. wait. once he's dead, go to the bottom left corner ASAP, so the dragon won't detect you. the do the same: slowly approach the dragon (without warning the king) and let the mage do the job. then kill the king anyway you want.
P.S.: stock up on food.
So just to make a point I finished tier 1 on Hard just now here at work. I practiced the first level on normal until I could do it in 54 seconds, and then I went start to finish in hard without actively practicing any of the other levels. Took me all of 12 minutes to finish tier 1 on hard after that (though one level I finished with 00:00:17 left; that was a bit rough. And I died on another level after rolling into the statue, while getting up right behind him).
The points are as follows:
1) Hard isn't that hard with a bit of practice
2) If you can do it once, you can do it again; I'm not planning to finish hard mode, but I'm going to redo tier 1 at home because I did it at work.
Also, is the cutscene when beating hard different than the cutscene when beating normal?

No, sadly not. Still a brilliant ending though, and made all the better by the horrible struggle to get there.
