Bomb rounds haven't a fixed amount of questions. Usually I get 2 questions in a bomb round, so yes, you need to survive a bomb round with 3 questions for the one and one bomb round with 5 questions for the other medal.

But he doesn't know how to. If anybody here does know what he has to do they should pm him.
It's a good game and it seems like he'd definitely take care of any bugs and make sure the medals were fair.

In the meantime I think I'll probably start slipping down the list like life did. A lot of these new games just aren't cutting it. At least medals used to be time consuming and challenging or quick and kind of fun; now they're just time consuming and lame.

No, for one medal, you need to survive 3 different bomb rounds in the same game, for the other, you need to survive a bomb round with 5 questions.

You I got one like that too. It was how many buttons are on a standard Xbox 360 controller the choices are:
9 11 13
His answer is 11, but there is A, B, X, Y, LB, LT, RB, RT, Start, Back, Guide button, Right stick click and Left stick click...13
He says that according to his research the stick clicks don't count as buttons. You press down on them so I say they are buttons, but he says he's going to clarify the question so that's ok I guess.

this to... i worked it out while the timer was going down (4 colours, 2 joysticks, 4 back ones, 3 in the middle) thats 13!... pressy.. *BOOM!*... athough after playing it for a while the same questions come up in the same order... so a guide shouldnt be hard... i might make one when i get some free time... bit busy with the art stuff at the moment... :3

Honestly, if you play the game long enough you can remember the answers and get all the medals that aren't based on luck. I had to remember to get one wrong so I could go for the 20,000 point medal instead of getting the no strikes/no bombs one, because I kept getting to the bonus round with a perfect game. Other than fixing the Dire Straits question, I don't think any questions need to be changed or made easier at all because it's not like it's hard to finish, just time consuming. And I'm not an American, BTW.

Also, in my mind buttons don't serve any other purpose besides being buttons, so the right and left sticks wouldn't count because their main purpose isn't being clicked, that's just a bonus feature. That's just me though.

Lol I thought that was rather strange as well. I was pretty sure it was chicks and not checks. Or at least in the original version.

However, wasn´t there a censored version of that song? I know Mark Knopfler occasionally sang "little mother trucker" on live shows, so maybe he turned chicks into checks as well?

This Wikipedia article seems to support this under the Controversy section. Says that the lyrics were later edited because "litte faggot" and "get your chicks for free" were offensive to some whiners.

So maybe the answer is actually correct.

I suppose. Although I find it strange that the creator provides both "chicks" and "checks" as an answer. It can hardly be that the author hears "checks" in the song and decides to put up "chicks" as a "wrong answer". Wouldn´t he at least double check? Finding the lyrics with google only takes up about half a minute (every lyrics-site says chicks by the way).

Anyway, yeah you could play it more and memorize all the questions. OOooooorrr you can use the guide which takes way less effort and guarantees that you get flawless victory and several other medals?

I know using a guide takes the fun away, but memorizing the questions isn´t that much fun either if you ask me.

D-Day Defender's medals don't work for me. I got the achievements in-game but once I quit the game and refreshed the page, I didn't have any medals. I also looked at my profile, waited a few minutes, but the medals still didn't show up.

Same here. I unlocked the in game achievement for master tactician but no medal.

Not sure if this has been discussed? Has anyone else not been getting credit for OCD+ achievements? I just finished the PoW one (sit there for 15 hours) and it didn't show up in my profile. Achievements from other games work just fine :( I also did the 10k clicks one, but that isn't show up either.

Well, without counting the fact that the guide l posted on my page (not "my" guide) was way better than his since it actually helps people get their medals faster but without hacking, there's also this fact of if someone can tell if somebody hacked their medals or not.

Is somebody is smart enough to get their medals in the correct order, not too fast and not getting some impossible medals, is it actually possible to tell he hacked?
I think not, and that could be a problem...

I don't see why most of you care if he cheats or not. You know you earn the medal. So what if he cheats, it just proves he has no real skill at all.

While us 10 Drunken Deities are sitting here admirring our awesomeness and hearing others out we se hackers running aloof and the next thing you know you have 100's of them. God I feel like all that hard work getting these medals is a waste =(.

I was trying not to mention his name due to his.. eh, shall I say, histrionic personality.. but.. Gdfsgdfg. He was asking for help on Sonny 2 approximately one week ago, uploaded a vid clip of him playing a round and failing to get pacifist, when I took a screenshot of his attributes page within the game that he so kindly opened up for less than 2 seconds. 3100+ strength and 9-figure attribute/ability points obtained, was in my opinion, just a FEW of the reasons he was failing to get the <2000dmg medal. Not difficult logic to follow.

I'm making a point of this because, therein lay the issue, therein lay the problem.
It's an abuse of the system. Such abuses are not tolerated by the staff elsewhere on site with various NG features (voting, award stealing, mass review abuse, you know by now all the stuff), and moderators have made note to alert Goldfish about such occurrences.

He (Goldfish) has been notified multiple times by multiple people with various proofs including that video he rapidshared and took claim for.... dsgsdhfsdfgsdgfsgfdsgf has admitted multiple times in THIS very thread, a mod or mods have warned that if he complains about not being included in the medal list thread again he'd be banned for 30 days and soforth..... so I assume, in relation to his medals still being in place...... actually, I have no fucking idea what to infer from such non-action anymore.

Why do I take notice? It ruins the spirit of gameplay and achievements here for those who legitimately seek to acquire the medals from hours and hours of drudgery. Not to mention it fucks up the medal list and the NG Logs' system.

But what the hell place do I have pointing this out as a "scientist".. one whom intrinsically feels rules, systems, and order are there for a reason. And when such systems of order are circumvented the entire process breaks down until each iteration of circumvention anomalies breaks it down even further until you are just left with true, unbridled chaos. Which is indeed inevitable, I feel, after monitoring various events since the Medal Achievement's system was implemented.

Drop the Bomb is a very buggy game and if you start game quickly after you've won it you can get unlimited number of questions from category which you answered last. If you want to stop it just quickly click continue which will eventualy show under question. I have almost all medals except the two with 3 X bombs which I both achived in game but didn't get a medal so I think they are still broken.
