It´s just a matter of time. For now it seems like it may still take a long while, but sooner or later they will release medals to the general public. Under strict rules perhaps, such as the ones you already posted.

And yes, you should suggest those in the NG evolution topic. They´re not bad ideas in my opinion.

Although I think it´s easier to go to the dungeon level and camp in the cave at the left bottom corner and just shoot grenades at the entrance. It´s very convenient that an ammo box respawns right in front of you. I barely got hit with that method, so it seems less risky to me.

For this achievement I chose the Laboratory level (Medium) for the reason that there is a big wall in the middle of the arena that helps limit the amount of enemies that attack you. Stick to the left side of the wall with the acid bomb launcher and let a group of enemies gather on the other side. Jump on top of the wall and start firing acid bombs towards the end of the platform. They'll walk into the gas trap and kill themselves trying to shoot you. If you take too much damage, retreat to the left side of the wall and recover your health and ammo. Keep doing this and you should get the achievement.

Remember that firing more than one acid bomb will result in a greater gradual decrease in the enemy's health, so when you are firing, make sure you're firing a lot.

Can anybody give me tips on how to get effective kills on the corrosive Grenades?
I always end up having to stand in the mist myself to get them in to it, or they dodge it and stand right infront of me and shoot me. . .

Does anyone else have problems with level 3 in FEAR? I have tried two times now on hybrid and slayer diffeculty, but after killing the enemies in the first room, the door won´t open... =/ I tried pressing W, but it just doesn´t work. The red glow in front of the door stays there and I cannot proceed.

I did it the same way, basically, but instead of staying in an ammo box place I did Corrosive whatever AFTER I made 100 kills with another weapon and the Acid Grenade shooter as my secondary to pick up ammo for it. By the time I started focusing on Acid Grenade I had more than enough ammo to last me to 100 kills with it, without risking any movement towards a box. I took zero damage, just shooting the same place constantly for around three minutes. Actually the easiest medal to get, just gotta know how to do it.

Huh. It might be the difficulty thing glitching it up. When this happens make sure to run around the level once or twice... the glow only goes away once you've killed all the dudes in the stage. The running might inspire them to spawn? I dunno - I've never had level 3 fuck up on me. I think I've only played it on Mortal and Impossible though.

Ya, so I 100% completed Fear. Can say for certain that "Demon Master" "Victory" and "Perfectionist" are not being awarded and are therefore bugged. Furthermore, the only in-game achievements I have are the "Elitist" medal which is for A+ on all levels and the "Sadistic Assassin" for 100 kills. I'm thinking that the check for the "Perfectionist" medal is stopped since it has already been achieved. "Demon Master" is not awarded either, even though I maxed all Magic skills.

I got the "Slaughter Master" medal for all Impossible without a full play-through so I'm thinking that the "Victory" medal does not need a full play-through. I won't be testing it out though, since the other two medals are bugged and I've had enough of this game until the author fixes it.

Well, I got rid of the post with the link, which was the important part. Anyone with enough resolve would find it anyway, without prompts, IMO. I think that, when assigning medal points, 2 factors should be considered:
a) the rating of the game
b) the overall difficulty

When it is decided a game can have medals (i.e. if it surpasses a certain rating and satisfies all other conditions that could apply, like number of gameplays, maturity and such), the admins could start a new votation where the users will give a score based on the overall difficulty.
The assigned numbers of points should be based 50% on rating and 50% on difficulty.
This will avoid bad games to receive an enormous amount of medal points and easy and at the same time, good but easy games won't give away so much.

I think so too, I think games should have some fun simple medals to get (that are not worth many points) just to make it fun and then harder to get ones that are worth more points. I think some games are frustrating to try to get medals on and some easy ones worth only 5 points can be a fun way to make it less frustrating but not letting bad gamers get glory.

i hate the fact that i must restart all my acchievements to get that artifact19
why? coz i always close the game when ever i got the acchievement
anyway artifact19 is quite cool, it needs no ammo, the suckest part is u must wait forever to recharge it

I didn't initally get the medal, but after refreshing the page and going through the level start page, I got it. It doesn't pop-up though so you may need to refresh your main NG page.

I am new here so i am just asking when you earn the medals in the game why dosent it appear in your userpage and the game page? in portal defenders i got half of the medals and closed the game and after refreshing it dosent appear.... if you could please tell me how to get them.
