well gooch, sadly the medals system is AS2 and AS3. PANCAKES was AS1 and after everything was put together with medal icons and scores, it failed because it interfered with the code of my game... :'(

Also It's been a few hours and still no medals on D-Day Defender, are they still being tested or has Tom not responded yet.

I'd guess that the game would have the same medals as its in-game achievements; it seems to occur in many of the medal games.

In DPK, could anyone give me a picture of one or more, or a solid explanation of what time "minions" appear?
I need to hit 3 or more minions with jump magic. So does that mean using the magic kiss while in the air?

I tried to search the past 25 pages but that is of course fruitless, and no walkthroughs detail the minions, nor has anyone compiled a list of what pages discuss which tactics similar to the methodology of the screenshot thread. I would do it but there are walkthroughs which make such a compilation obsolete, correct?

I don't know if this video ever made the thread, but i did post it on someones blog. here is help for anyone doing alkie kong on brutal, who are stuck on lvl 13. Its basically taking advantage of the programming in the game. it allows you to double jump, which makes the level 100% easier.

The "minions" are the little robots that pop out of the main guys chest. It happens after you level up a few times, you usually easily get three in a game, but I'm not sure exactly makes them appear.

Jump magic is when you double jump after you level up and get the "magic jump" or whatever. It looks like you're farting pink gas or something when you double jump. You need to kill the minions with that. I know people have video walkthroughs of it on youtube somewhere.

Actually, the max that ever comes is two, however you only need to kill 3 in one game, not three at once.

I meant the most I've seen while playing is two, ever.
Letting him dizzy me, repair, and going at him again is when I got to hit that third with jump magic. I melee'd it to kill it, still got that medal.

Well blast, that's quite the shame. I was really looking forward to that game having medals. I enjoyed playing it a lot.

I really am sorry.. I didnt think i would let anyone down since everyone hates the game, although everyone loves the game as well. Why? I have no clue. the opinions for it are so far apart it shows that evryone has different tastes for comedy. I am not doing anything else involving that game because the ideas is immature and matches the 14 year old personalitty I had when I made it.

I wish there was a damn videa of someone playing the game on easy and getting all the bottles+not killing any bats+not dying.
Why does everyone care so much about brutal?There is not a single video walkthrough of the game on easy, how stupid is that?
And yeah, of course l know that PG made one, but it's in text and frankly, you can't have a texted WK for AK2...

Also, about D-day defender, please don't put any medals on it, it is glitched as hell..l couldn't even shoot at some points (and it had nothing to do with ammo, reload and such things)...

Yeah l know l watched Wismty's videos but frankly, he does so many things at the same time that he makes it very hard to understand what to you have to do..
To explain myself better, on Brutal you spend 3/4 of your time waiting for the right moment, dodging and killing bats..only 1/4 of the times spent on actually doing what the stage requires you to do...l can mention 3 or 4 levels where l literally didn't know what he did because of the excessive speed and the fact that the video doesen't run fuildly..
Also, Brutal is intended for players that know how to complete the game..something that l don't know yet.
For easy the vdieo guide would be much simpler, therefore easier to understand...

iv done it once or twice... it was rather strange as i just kept running and staring at it after like... WTF?! did i just do that?... but after them freak occasions i normaly just did it in parts to make sure i did it first time :3

Is it just me or is anyone having problem with their medals? I have 5 missing on the Street Fighter collab, twice in the last 15 mins I've got 4 of them and been awarded them according to the flash, but when I return to my profile or the flash page after refreshing, they still show as not earned. So I'm just wondering if this or anything similiar is happening to anyone else?

Yeah i've had problems with random ones too. Newgrounds pass 3 says that i have all the medals, but none of them show up for me. And when playing the street fighter colab, i see the medal unlock in the game, but when i refresh the page, they don't show up :(

Also, the new reflex game doesn't give me medals either (even though i only got the first 3 or 4)

Seems like every time they add a new medals game the medals system goes down for a few minutes...

Virtual memory? You can fix that with a few clicks if you have the harddisk space.

Just beat EBF... on normal...yep...that's probably as far as I'll go. It's just dawned on me that what Spiffy yelled at me about on the 4th, when Pilgrimage got medals, is actually true; I just wasted 90 minutes of my life.

I can't see myself getting any of those medals. I'm betting the secret medal is getting them all in one playthrough, so you couldn't quit at any point if you wanted them all.
