Spider-Man 3 is a 2007 superhero film that is the third film in the Spider-Man film franchise based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. Sam Raimi, who directed the previous two Spider-Man films, returns to direct the third installment with a returning cast that includes Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Rosemary Harris and J. K. Simmons. The film also stars franchise newcomers Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard and Thomas Haden Church. Spider-Man 3 will be commercially released in multiple countries on May 1, 2007. The film will be commercially released in the United States in both conventional and IMAX theaters on May 4, 2007.

After finally being able to find a balance between being Spider-Man, and spending time with Mary-Jane Watson, Peter Parker begins to feel secure in his life. One night, Peter finds his costume has changed; it's now black, with the ability to enhance his powers. Bringing out the darker, more vengeful side, the suit begins to influence Peter. After becoming more egotistical, Peter makes a decision to abandon the suit. Also, two new villains, Sandman and Venom, arrive in New York with overpowering abilities.

Spider-Man 3 will have its world premiere in Tokyo on April 16, 2007, and the U.S. premiere will take place at the Tribeca Film Festival in Queens on April 30. The film will have its UK premiere on April 23 at the Odeon Leicester Square. Spider-Man 3 will also be released in Japan on May 1, 2007, three days prior to the American commercial release, in time for Japan's Golden Week. Spider-Man 3 will also be released early in China on May 3 to circumvent market growth of pirated copies of the film. The studio's release of a film in China before its domestic release will be a first for Sony Pictures Releasing International.

You know after the first two Spiderman movies were huge successes, and actually pretty good movies, the third can't be that bad, since it's by the same Director and such :)

If you'll notice, there have been a kinda, steady increase in spiderman threads. The closer it comes to the release date, the more threads there'll be. I just meant for this thread to cut down on the spam and whatnot :[

Also, can I get a Spidey Sig only he's in red and not crying.

I've read the first issue that had Venom. Spiderman 300. So it's no surprise that it's the 3rd movie with Venom.

Gwen Stacey is in this; thus, this film officially sucks. If they already used the way she died in the comic books in the first film with Mary Jane, only she lived in that same situation; why even use her in the movie if you already used up your grand oportunity?
Also, Bruce Campbell isn't Sandman, which is what should have happened. Thus, this film already gets my thumbs down.

The first one made over S400,000,000 worldwide, and the Sequal made over $370,000,000, so this one will probably just as well. I predict about $350,000,000 unless a bunch more people go to see it because of Venom being in it or something.

I think the most they should make is 5. Because after #5 movies start getting really lame.
There will probably be a 4 from some of the stuff I read, but 4 is a meh number, they should just go for 5, heh. There's enough Spiderman villans to do it, so I don't see why they shouldn't.
