The Star Syndicate is shutting down. Permanently? Very likely.

Most of you have little access to the goings on over where we hang so allow me to shed a bit of light on why this is happening and the upcoming final dailytoon #250.

Now, the star syndicate was created a few years back by Zerostar and a few of his friends. Many others have joined and the group soon became filled with lots of talented folks. I feel I am very blessed to have joined the group and met such wonderful people.

However as the group has aged (and the young members as well) alot of us have left thr group due to having more real life responsibility. RTIL for example (creator of Flash Comedy Extravaganza) has temporarily left the group due to college. Many others have as well. But thats to be expected.

Needless to say when our leaders had gone, we needed someone to replace them and help "run the show" so to speak. So, our leaders for the last year and a half have been F00d (creator of Wade Fulp: Internet Badass) and Fat_Badger who needs no introduction.

Contrary to popular beleif, we dont all get along. Me and BigArmyBug (creator of Spit the SlimeMold) hate each other.
F00d and Fat Badger got into a rather large fight a few months back when we started Season 3 of the daily toons series. F00d wanted the cartoons to be more highbrow, consisting of less penises and fart jokes and terrible animation.
Badger, being the lovely chap he is, wanted the Dailytoons to go back to their roots as being amazingly crappy and offensive.

As some of you may have noticed, this years dailytoons have been an odd bunch. Some are beautiful, whilst others are absolute shit. This isnt on purpose. The Star Syndicate has been divided on the issue of quality since around february. Many of the mods have been banning each other and its all been a huge fucking mess.

So, basically, until we get new leadership, (or if our current "leaders" ever stop bitching at each other) the Star Syndicate is shutting down.
Chances are this will be permanent, mainly because we rarely do anything anymore. Dailytoons dont anger people the way they used to, we never get our collabs done, and we're just lazy bastards.

For those of you who are fans of us (you precious few), the bad guy here is F00d, known better as Dan Weisman. Now f00d is a nice guy and a great animator, but he's far too dictorial and was ruining everything.

So yeah.
Thats basically it.

Now I'm going to sit here and watch as the usual posts come up like:

"omg zekey this is a joke lol you are lying"

"OMG YAY I HATE THE SS SHITTY FLASH"

and I'm sure Ozcar is flying like a bat out of hell to this topic to lock it, where he will then proceed to make another self-glorifying topic about himself and act like he's a responsible guy.

Star Syndicate has made many randy and many limp, this is a sad day in Newgrounds history, and the only thing we can do is all email Tom Fulp and tell him to get a tattoo of all the stars (and a fat Badger) on his ass, so no one will ever forget the mighty Star Syndicate.

Although I didn't really know the Star Syndicate, I do know that they are part of Newgrounds, no matter how much some might find it annoying. I hated the Stars when I first came to the site, but as time went on I began to grow fond of them. It's going to suck to see Newgrounds' most active flash group shutting down. :-(

I'll admit that I always haven't been the biggest fan of the Star Syndicate but, I am a fan. I admire how you guys managed to crank out 240+ flash movies...even, if some of them happen to be subpar. Most of the times though, they made me crack a smile or LOL.

Currently my main account is banned, so I'll just post with the SS account.

The Star Syndicate has been a lot of fun, and I have many friends there. I've had a great time making flashes for the SS and I don't necesarily plan on stopping. Unfortunately, I can't go on without mentioning that there are also a lot of total pricks in the SS. I tried to ignore these assholes for as long as I could, but it became unbearable in the past few days. Allow me to explain.

After fatbadger wanted to take over dailytoons and attempt to get a Turd of the Week award for a dailytoon each week, I decided something had to be done to stop this madness. I asked ZeroStar if I could start making more dailytoons to stop this, and he said if I made a grand new menu like the Daily2oons menu, I could be the main Dailytoon organizer. I toiled and labored to make the best possible menu for the series, and when I was finally finished, it looked great. I became the sole organizer and released about 10-15 dailytoons in a row with the new menu. Eventually, good quality submissions started rolling in. I had a string of about 6 green-scoring dailytoons, and the Clock Day toon had a blue score! Things were looking great.

Then came yesterday night. I was invited to a chatroom and was met with a whole legion of angry Star Syndicate members demanding that I get rid of my high quality menu that I worked so fucking hard on in favor of a shitty, horrible menu. This just about boiled my blood. In particular, rexCo angered me the most. He personally insulted me, my family, my work, and my sexuality. In fact, I still don't have much of a beef with fatbadger. That is all resolved now. Now it is mostly just rexCo and his gang of assholes.

After angering me to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. Enraged, I released this dailytoon: http://www.newground..m/portal/view/333876

Not surprisingly, this caused an immense amount of conflict and the tension that has been building in our crew was just let loose. There is way too much fucking drama for me to want to keep this shit alive.

Dailytoons are ending after 250 comes out, and the boards will be closed down within the week.
