This is the ideas and suggestions thread for the layout of the Newgrounds PM system found in your account options. If you have any ideas, post them here, but please don't post obsceneties.
On another note if anybody willing to maybe put peoples suggestions into pictures, that would be greatly appreciated.
The administrators allready have alot of ideas on their minds right now.

I'd like to see an outbox, not just an inbox. It's handy to have a copy of a pm that you've sent.

I really do think that is a good idea Gunter45, I just sent a message, than accidentally closed the window, and I'm not sure if it sent.
Also, some real help would be useful.
I know that they mightn't have had time to get around to it.
I agree with Gunter45 also about the Outbox idea. And as for the design, what do you think about this idea? It's not too good, but it's a start, right?

I agree with this, can never be sure the message was actually sent until you get a reply. Also, having status on the messages, sent, read, replied etc. would be nice, if not a little myspacey.
There's the new message notification as well, but that's already being worked on apparently anyway.
i think newgrounds is a pretty cool guy. eh makes falsh and doesn't afraid of anything.

Suppose the user I want to contact barely logs into NG anymore, and the only way I can contact him is through his/her e-mail adress! I also find this handy whenever I want to add someone to MSN or Gtalk.

Just like the BBS, I think you should be able to send pictures in your private messages.

Yeah, I know. I was trying to figure out how to make it more newground-ish. It would be helpful to know what fonts are used on some of the buttons. Eh, I'll see what I can do to touch it up.

Used to be able to do that, but the administrators wisely decided to disable the option. Why? Because they don't want to be hosting a bunch of child porn and not even know about it. They figure if an image is that urgent to send, it can be uploaded on imageshack first.
If it's not already in place, a block function would be useful, in case you insult Wade and have a million messages saying "LOL U R GHEY WAID IS NOT!!!1".
I don't know if it is included in the new method of going to inbox (from any page) but I would like it to be lit up if you have an unread PM or something.
Also, the big ugly Inbox in the account options should be gone

the inbox is directly acessible from any page now, but how about anindicator that says if we have new messages? that way we won't have to keep checking our inboxes :D

Yeah I think thats the main concern right now, its our top priority to have..
