i know its not a tutorial or even documented well but it is still a very handy little tool i have made
I have to say the growing obsession with tutorials is getting annoying. They're great for finding your feet and all, or a few neat little effects for people who aren't into coding, but the number or people just asking for tutorials on how to do every single feature of their game or animation, without and sense of understanding or working at it themselves. Tutorials should be there to assist people, not to do all their work for them as lots of people new to the forums seem to want them too.
Anyway, like me saying that's going to affect anything. Cheerio.

Thats actually a really good idea...
Some of the flash gods here, could get together and organise the list in a way in which they think its the best to be learned.
So you start with the basic stuff and when yuov nailed it, move up to the advanced.
It could be pretty helpful XD
You could check it, to see if you know a certian thing, and if so move onto the next and so on.

Yeah, but that would depend very much on what you were trying to make. For an animation, all you really need are timeline control functions and button handlers - maybe a bit about custom cursors and extra effects.
With a platorm game I'd say _x and _y positions first, then variables, then hitTests, then basic physics and perhaps loops. An overhead game, though, wouldn't require physics nearly as much, amd other types of game may not require hitTests, so it would vary greatly.
Or perhaps someone should make a tutorial that branches to the other tutorials and sumerizes what is learned and needs to be learned to show people where to start off.
