Exactly my point. Not a boost to their own or a penalty to ours. Only a penalty to ours if we fail to deposit. Even then, if we are still depositing, our own VP will climb, just at a slightly slower rate.

But I'm saying why were you even addressing that issue like it was a potential one. Unless you count getting penalized by not depositing when the top user does deposit as a penalty (I count it as the way things always were), then.... no penalty is built into that system, and no real bonus is built into it for the top user, at least in terms of VP. They've hit 10.00VP base, there's no magical bonus that just happens from that, and they can never level up again. It's kinda sad, actually. ;_;

That's why Pimp is the luckiest guy of all due to the redesign. He gets to have fun with teh new levels, too!

I can think of one who had their posts all deleted. And another who had all their b/p deleted. Without their accounts being deleted at the same time.

Look at the regular users who submit regular flash. I've met a guy called Jimtopia. His first 4 or 5 flash were all blammed. He got his ban for it and he stuck with it. I poured my resources in and watched his flash take on greater shape and fluidity over the time he used. He's one of my favourite animators out there and he even got front paged recently Jim & Pals Ep. 4. He's come a long way.

Well, I've seen a few level 32s around and it's a good level for a mid-range level, but all three of my accounts skipped over it after the redesign. If I HAD to have it, though, I'd make a new account (or start depositing with the 999999 or 1000000 accounts).

Similarly, Pimp could always make an alt (if he doesn't have one already) to experience levels such as 39 or 43.

What's so great about 39, anyway? Chainsaw, bleh.

gfoxclock just leveled up to it the other day. :::shrugs::: It's better than 40, I'll give it that. But not as good as 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, etc.

So I don't feel very impoverished that gfoxcook started at level 40.
