Red Baron Lives Again!

I used to play a game like this a longass time ago on my antique IBM. The funny thing is that it ran better on the 8088 processor than it does om my P3.
Clean it up, add some annoying sounds and loosen up the concept just a little bit. You have this silly intro leading up to a serious game, what the hell is with that?
Also, find a way to speed up the dying/playing again process, I finally quit because of that taking so long.
Get rid of those lameass missiles and just make the gun into a machine gun, allow people to kamikaze their wounded plane by having it fall at a certain rate but maintain some control, and above all:
Make the game sillier! If you have to make the enemy plane giant turkeys turning out to help the beef industry against the Colonel, do it! The game should be sillier and faster.

Anyhoo, it's a good game so far, and you have the basis of something really special if you do it up right.

Cool flying

I liked it it was fun.

BUG- sometimes when you play from the beginning, even though you kill all the 'bad guy' houses and cows the game dosent advance, so you are left there flying around with nothing left to shoot but your own stuff?

You need a quit button that takes you back to the main menu.

Sound! get some, any!

Great job

WE need our crapy sound

Wow!!

That is really nice! There's so much to it! Real quality work! I love it!

hmm

Needs sound, it's just too quiet. Surely you could've found some kind of music that wasn't annoying? Even some old video game music, which would match the type of sprite graphics you used. No sound is such a turn off for me. It's a decent game. The plane is hard to control, too hard for me to bomb something and when I fly too close, I tend to crash. I'll still give you a good score, it's just not to my tastes.
