Not bad.
I wouldn't say it was inspirational, but it wasn't boring like the last person thought. It was clearly a representation of birth, life, death, and reincarnation. Done fairly well.
Animation is fantastic for the time.
That said... it's dull.
Don't get me wrong, I know some people get swept away by this kind of thing, but I've seen more entrancing things that have been made since then. If I saw this back in 2003, I'm sure I'd give it a 5, but the "Wow" factor for this just doesn't hold up, atleast, not for me.

Technically it was great, but there's no area where you can score for entertainment value or lack of stupid. I like how Ed The Sock put it. Why the hell do people always use asain symbols to try to be profound?

Well, if you took the time to actually read the extra info in the intro, you would realise precicely why I added that single line of kanji at the beginning of the movie... if you actually watched more than the first 30 seconds, that is. :Þ

Ok, it was good, but not all that people said it is. I mean, the graphics and stuff were great, but that wasn't nearly as deep as people are making it out to be. Kind of lame, even, if you ask me. People need to think for themselves, instead of reading what other people have posted and saying the same thing. Bunch of trivs...
