Some people...
This movie is what you make of it. Check the Extras section to see what I mean. I can honestly say that I'm glad most entries aren't like this; but once in a while, this is a welcome sight.
LET ME EXPLAIN
The whole is more than the sum of its parts, or in some cases, less. The graphics are truly astounding and if I could have, I would have given you more than 10, the effort put into this must have been incredible. The sound also fitted to perfection the almost new age atmosphere of the short. Finally, stylistically this short was extremely well made and very professional looking.
So why the 8? Well, and this is just my personal opinion, I wasn't able to fully understand the point of the movie. Call me dull witted and out of touch with my spiritual side or whatever, but even though this must be very meaningful to you, I had a hard time deciphering it. I realize that it's abstract art trying to represent a multitude of factors of life. Still, it's not something I will want to view again. But it's a formidable one-time experience.
Please do something more conventional and put your skills to use in other ways.
