How good is this entry, then?
A superb mix of great graphics and a haunting use of sound (who am I, Leonard Maltin?!?) give this a truly chilling atmosphere, which is commendable.
Better still is the ending, with more implied horrors, than badly rendered blood effects that many resort to.
A 'toon that shows a lot of skill, and a truly worthy entry. And if this was just Part One, imagine where it could go from here?

The animation is definitely among the best I've seen. There were a couple of minor flaws though. You did the panning around objects (sort of a matrix like effect) a little too often for my taste. Also the voices at the start didn't add much, I think it would have been more creepy if you could have done it without any characters actually talking. And finally I kind of saw the ending coming. But these are small complaints, this is still a great piece of work, especially the opening.
