What's with all of these people?
Have they never played an old school shooter before? These games are ALWAYS hard, but after you get the hang of it it's really fun a addicting. It's all about the patterns.
Also, this game was executed so flawlessly that barely anyone can see the amount of effort that's gone into this game. It's basically a SNES quality made by TWO guys using FLASH! And it's all free! Back in the day this thing would sell like hot cakes. I am happy that this spawned a console game and I'm looking forward to playing it.
All these people complaining about difficulty... try Contra, then you'll realise how genius this game is.
I own it for gamecube, a true classic
This gfame is truely an awesome acheivement, i bought it for gamecube and play it all the time, includes many challenging levels with great sound and smooth graphics, i would reccomend this game to anybody who like bloody violence and sidescrolling shooting games

Tom an Dan this is so cool my cuz got the the game today and it frenken good !!! its cool i played this one 4 a long time and it like the one we have but more cooler and better fetures I hope u to can bring more of newgrounds toons to the video game consles. and tom whats the diffrents from HD then the regular one. cuz my lil cuz got the regular. i hope i could get the castlecrashers game but i dont have the x box 360 well im giving the best score cuz of u two guys support of putting newground in the in consels. :) PS: PICO AND ALIEN.H RULE !!!!!
