Contra Metal Slug
This game definitely fits in with the old arcade classics such as Contra, but with the fluidity of humor of Metal Slug. The gameplay is awesome, with difficulty set in Duke Nukem tiers. The only qualms I have with this game (Although it's a prototype compared to the finished version) is that the entire gameplay is too cramped. Obviously, there are filesize limits as well as keeping the game running smoothly. Played this game about 6 years ago however, and still very much fun to this day. I intend to buy the HD one for XBLA.
