2000th Review!
Well, after seven or eight tries I can proudly say I BEAT the game! Which leads me into my first point - this game is hard. Very, very hard. The problem is getting pegged with bullets, but the cause is multiple. First, the controls aren't intiuitive - simply put, we've been raised on controllers with arrows on the left and buttons on the right. Doing it backwards on the keyboard feels awkward. And for some reason, it just doesn't feel right to jump with 's'. I keep pushing up-arrow instinctively, or fire. Bullets are also tough to distinguish from the noisy action and background.

Once you handle the learning curve though, this is a pretty darn fun game. Excellent boss design - both in form and function. Half the game's fun was learning the boss' movements and weaknesses and exploiting them. I love Synj's graphics as usual. Tom's coding is pretty solid - except at one point, I got "caught" in the first FBI van. I can't explain it, except I jumped on it, or ran into it, and basically lost control of my character. I couldn't get hurt, or move, or see myself, and the van eventually drove off-screen (presumably with me still inside).

I'm sure the console version is fantastic, but seeing as how I don't own a console of any kind, I don't see myself purchasing it. At any rate, thanks for a fun game!
