Really?
You know, it's a good game, but I don't find it to be the end all be all of casual online games. I mean, it's well done stylistically and nicely rendered and kudos for it being a console game now. It sort of puts the "online game review" to bed because it almost doesn't matter.
That said, I've seen better. I can't say I can DO better, but I've seen games with less going on than this have higher replay and higher interactivity. Unless I'm missing something, there were 2 power ups and 10 lives. I didn't find any extra lives (though running nearly out in the first level I surely could have used them) and no check points or saves or continues.
I've never liked that about a game. If you want me to come back and play it over and over again, don't kill me off so quickly and reward me for getting to a certain point. The idea here (without having seen an extra life bottle somewhere yet) is that the game can be beaten on 10 lives, yes?
