Reviews for "PALADIN episode 5 part 2"

haha

paladin is just lucky that the guy was stupid enough to mess with the sword of ancients... what did he think would happen?

A joke

This series utilizes so many cliches and cheesy twists, it's painful to watch. It's like He-Man with violence. The artwork was so-so until around the middle where it picked up a little. The first half would be a 5, while the second half would be a 7. Way too much blurring was used; nearly every single shot - if not every shot - featured a blur filter.
The voice acting was clean and clear, but still a little sad to listen to. The dialog was mostly used to tell us things that we could have figured out, or just overstating some points (refer to the villain's monologue at the stabbing sequence near the end). It almost felt like a parody of itself. The music was good, but near the end didn't seem to fit the mood so well.
The last few moments of this cartoon really crushed it. The death sequence took maybe 10 seconds. There was no emotional build for it. It was poorly structured and gave the viewer no sense of accomplishment. It just happened. It seemed like a weak excuse to end it. The sword was just a Deus ex Machina that really crushed a time for a smart, cool turn to occur.
The overly cheerful ending was probably the most embarrassing part to watch. I mentioned He-Man earlier. This last little bit was the epitome of cheesy '80s cartoon happy endings. Nobody stayed dead, nothing had to be restored because it just regrew on its own, everyone was immediately happy, and bright colors and rainbows (literally) were used to tell us that everything was okay now.
Overall, I don't think this cartoon works too well for its intent. I think that even PALADIN fans will find this one cheesy and often difficult to watch.
I gave this an overall 6/10, which I think is fair.

Epically boring

The animation was smooth and the character design was interesting, but overall the plot was boring, expected, and hackney.
It's like you chopped up bits and pieces of all the worst 1980's fantasy movies and threw them into one of those awful fusion salads you see at tasting restaurants. Pinenuts don't belong in a salad people. PINE NUTS DON'T BELONG IN A SALAD.

Anyway, hire a writer. It's like a great song with really bad lyrics. You are the Dragonforce of Newgrounds. Grats.

Not worht a 4

This flash might have the graphics, but what good are they if the story and the action are boring. The music wast bad either, but not good enough to make me give you a 4 your flash is worth a free and a 5 for efort, but your effort was waisted im afraid the story plot was so lame a 7year old could think of a beter story. the ending was a total cliche. It could have ended in a lot of other way, but it ended that everything was ok and in the end everyone was alive.

sooo....everyone risen from the grave came back to life after the curse was lifted.......wow......cereal killerz has a second chance
