Well
At first I thought this one was just going to be another mediocre music flash since it used the basic arrow clicking style, but I was quite surprised right from the start of my first round. First of all I have to say, excellent music choice. I was wondering if you'd slip in a Tenacious D for the final song, but I particularly liked the one with the "hellooo" voice from that stupid ad banner. The first round I tried for a while it seemed like the arrows weren't quite perfectly synced up to the riffs, but right after that song they were all perfect.
Sometimes it's the most basic ideas for flash games that end up being the best, and this one is a good example of that. I did like the game where it was arrow hitting and the four arrows would spin around making it harder to tell which arrow to hit, but that game could have used a much better music selection and a few basic changes.
Well one bad thing is how short the game is. I completed every song and the final song to get the secrets pretty quickly, and theres nothing to do after that. Some cool stuff added might add more replayability to it. It really isn't "way too hard" as that guy says, not even close. I've known about the basic DDR style 4 arrow click rhythm keyboard game for a long time now, and my sister and her boyfriend are both masters of it (her boyfriend one of America's best DDR and arrow key players) but I never really thought I'd do well with it, since I'm not very good at DDR. I prefer Guitar Hero much more. This game really made me think I would love to play that DDR arrow key game and could be good at it, too. I think ill install it and try it tonight.
I feel guilty that the one that's been done before is better than all these other NG music games that are coming out the past week, but what they need to fix in all the other ones is the ENJOYMENT of the game. You nailed the enjoyment factor well, even though its quite small/short of a game. But of course we don't expect such a huge game from a flash game unless it's a TD. Good job man.
Cheers
