Good work, but dosn't push the envelope.
Pretty much another DDR clone, only using eight directions. Ho-hum.
What was nice about this game is the level of polish that went into the design. Extras like clean graphics, a nice interface, and a story go a long way. Unfortunately, the artist forgot to address the actual gameplay while all this was going on.
Let one little slime get by, and you're in trouble. Not only does the music cut out, but the creature jumps into the hole with a bright flash, obscuring other enemies from your vision. It's very hard to line the creatures up for smashing, and the snakes allow you ZERO time to press the next key, almost ensuring that you must either let the end of the snake go, or miss the next note.
7/10 for being better than 95% of the crap on Newgrounds. As an actual game, though, it's very mediocre and frusterating.
