Reviews for "Rise of Alfred"

twisted

this was a good toon, yet it was kinda sick and twisted.... just how i like em!

Eh?

Dear Emily
must say that you submission needs loads of work. I shall critisize constructively on points of improvement.

Sound: It needs a lot of work. The actual dialogue and music were alright, but the actual quality was poor might wanna get a new mic or try and imrove it with some sowtware like audacity. Its free.

Graphics: I dont know if it was intended but my eyes were grossly offended and they puked. A true visual disaster. The cartoon was badly drawn, in the fact that the shapes and visual efects were crude. Try to imrove it with some shading or brighter colours, a more definitive shape perhaps?

Content: I read the creator's comments and expected a comedy. Puting that aside, taking it as a very strange undefined submission it hard to comment on the purpose and its achievement.
If you just wanted to create a poor cartoon with a lot of shock factor and gross out value you did it.
if you tried to make a meaningful submission with food forthought you failed.
Again im not sure what you wanted to achieve by doing this so its hard to comment.

GOOD day, wistfane

I have audacity, and the mic was the best i could get at best buy - i think it's just my highly annoying voice that made it sound bad.
As far as graphics, i wanted to contrast the ugliness and drab mundaneness of the real life manager's office with the Glorious brightness of the hallucinated dictator desk. I also wanted to give a deranged sick feeling with the art, as the cartoon is deranged and sick. But i think i drew it pretty nice.
Well this was supposed to be a comedy, Humour is all subjective as i say, and disturbing humor is my favorite, i find it hilarious. I mean there are serious segments in it, but i like that in a comedy.
I thought it had a meaning if you think about it, i wanted to show motive and the groovy pattern of compensation, and the irony that Alfred was so afraid of being alone because of past trauma, yet trauma-instilled-paranoia Caused his aloneness at the end. I'd like people to think about it, and it isn't the clearest of messages, but i still think it is there.

pretty good, gotta be observant of your boss

I ,loved i

wooooooooooooooooow...........
.....

I am officially scarred for life...someone kill me...

(BTW...i gave sound a seven cuz of the jumpy volume)

good work

This is definitely the movie that will put you in a unique path. I think you are going to be one of those guys that are like David Firth.
Hooray for nazism!
