How very extremely cute! Animated on a lightbox you say? What did you use to color it? Raytoss? Toon Boom? Or are these actual inked cels we are looking at?
Either way, great short. Cute designs, smooth traditional animation, and a slightly different ending than what I was expecting. After the tree split open I thought it was going to end, but you made it go further, which was great.

I knew that their was something in this flash that made it seem like something I don't usually see in newgrounds everyday.
Not a bad start at all!
While a little light-hearted for my taste, it was fun to watch and very well animated. In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing this concept turned into a series based on the adventures of this squirrel (who I assume is female due to the high pitch). Well, done and I hope to see more from you.
