Excellent
You might say there are 2 kinds of 'random' comedy. The first kind is where you stick in references to everything under the sun for no reason other than because it's out of place. Family Guy does this a lot. The second kind is where the author's mind is so off the wall, it's funny because the viewer never sees the jokes coming. Yet, the absurdity and surrealism all go together in a way; they're self-consistent. David Firth's works come to mind, yet they're not always funny. You, my friend, have pulled off the second kind of random, and the result is hilarious.
