I loved it

You did a really good job with the animation...Maybe could of thrown in other sweet goodnesses though. I LOVED IT NON THE LESS!

A new look at this song.

Nice movie, more like cartoon music video, are you trying to give us a message here? Like you hate soda, or soda hates you?

I liked the character's shining stance, no matter how many soda cans hit him and where, he just continued to sing his point out anyway, all beat up and sticky, not giving up. I never thought of this song any way like whats depicted here, which is cool, I get to see everyones thoughts and perspective about a certain song or movie this way.

Graphics: 8, decent graphics, mostly about one guy, they got better towards the end with the usage of flash, such as him dodging cans or getting hit by them in slow motion, and backgrounds were added eventually too.

Style: 8, good use of flash, as I said above it was cool how slow motion soda cans hit into him and how he dodged some, and for the fact of you making this whole movie up, what its about and of course what it shows, creative, I would have upped your style to a 10 if you would have had him dodge a few soda pop cans Matrix style =), that never gets old no matter what people use it for, movies, spoofs, it gets better and better.

Sound: 7, pretty good how you played the sugar sugar song throughout the whole thing, which is how it should be, I liked it, but some sound effects such as soda cans smashing into his body, the sound of soda cans deflecting off of the umbrella, and the sound of soda showering down on him would have also been a nice touch, eh but then again you probably thought the sound effects would interfere with the song, viewers would miss a few key words, which is the whole point as to why you wanted to express yourself, the song itself with soda violence, throughout this movie.

Violence: 9, he was constantly getting smashed by soda cans, causing bumps and bruises all over his body, what more could we say?

Humor: 7, some of the facial expressions he made as he was getting hit by the cans, and expressions he made on his face as he dodged some, and especially how he thought he missed a few but they hit him anyway lol.

Overall: 8, you expressed through this and I thought it was a good way to do so, I found it creative and I thought it was a great movie to watch, good job and congrats on front page.

recommendation

I think it should start out with shadows flying behind him and he turns around but misses whatever it was. Then the next wave hits him head on. After that he gets hit once more without moving. After this though I believe you should have him dodging the barrage of cans (not necessarily causing them to miss). After he dodges he gets smacked in different ways by the cans (possibly after a sigh of relief for not getting hit).

I think a cool element would be if you made the floor morph into one big can which starts rolling. The character would try to run to keep up, but of course fail and be rolled up by the can. Then have a shot where you're looking at the side of the can rolling and his head pops up and then disappears (since he's still being rolled up by the can) as he sings the words to the song.

Thus ends my directorial critique.

Le Gasp!

That was just hilarious. Only thing you needed was the guy going to sleep and being chased by a giant pop-can.

Hope to see more work from ya, maybe one about eating vegtables or something.
