Fun for a while,but then ruined.

First off,I would just like to say that it was an amazing game-until survival mode.Story was fun,but survival mode just made me stop playing.It was a pain in the ass(stay on one stage,fight enimies)and made the whole game go downhill.You earned points at the SLOWEST SPEED possible,and just disapointed me to no end.I'm sorry,but if you had made the game more like story,I would've given you a ten(not to mention I would've put this on my favs).Now that that's done with,time for the rest of the review.

Graphics-Pretty good,almost amazing!9/10

Style-I've always wanted to see Newgrounds characters fight with each other and YOU,my friend delivered what i wanted.10/10

Sound-Annoying and repetitive...can't help ya here.2/10

Violence-Eh,what can i say.10/10

Interactivity-Again,can't say anything.10/10

Humor-Pico's head falling off,and that's about it.1/10

Overall-Replace survivor with something more fun,get better music,and add more characters and this would've been the greatest game on Newgrounds.But because of those three isues,I can't say it was anything more than decent.6/10

Yikes, one mode drops from a 10 favorite to a 6 decent? I'd recommend just not playing that mode :P Survival modes are inherently storyless so there's only so much that can be done with it. I'll see what I can put together for the next one though.

cool...but

not too many unlockables and sorta short and repetative.....but it is quiete the game and a fun one at that so overall well done

It's okay, but...

There's no compelling reason to play through more than once. There's no special attacks, you just mash the attack button until you win. Looks good and plays smoothly, but boring.

To be honest, I think it's overrated.

What can I say? There's not anything particularly wrong with it; the graphics are fine, sound fits well, very interactive, a bit cliche (though it is a fighting game which I'm sure by now is impossible to make one non-cliche), and even a bit funny, especially with deaths like Pico's. The problem here is I simply did not have that much fun playing it. I found myself playing this game simply to unlock all the characters and levels and having very little fun. And even playing the game to unlock everything doesn't take long; I had every level and character unlocked (and the story for each character beaten) shortly after the game came out, and I haven't touched it since. It offers little replayability, but this is no fault of yours- playing fighting games against the CPU is no fun, and playing against humans is awkward on a single keyboard (this is a flaw in all computer fighting games).

Basically, it's great if you have a little time to kill, but there isn't much to do after the first hour or so of gameplay.

Don't get me wrong- this is a good game, and I think it definitely deserves to be in the top ten. I just think it is very overrated,
