It takes some practice. Horde those pickups, use your bidirectional attacks when approached on both sides, but jump out of the fray once you're smothered. Use Jesus to your advantage. If your ground attacks are worn out, head to the roof for some aerial encounters. You'll get it as long as you keep trying :)

Okay, so I just finished Hank's story mode. Henchmen part was pretty fun, if you ask me. Just spam the crouching attacks when they surround you.
Also, I don't really know what's wrong with your save files, but mine's a-okay. Thank god, too, since I already unlocked everything and I wouldn't want to spend tomorrow afternoon getting it all back. XD

my only complaint was that there was a lack of solid snake from mettle gear awesome, that would have been the most absolutely perfect flash game EVER
