PERFECT
This is a great game. I love it. But, instead of making a sequel, you should just update the game, and add a few more stuff in it.
1.) Add Strawberry Clock, and a few more other NG characters
2.) Add a few more levels
3.) Keep on rocking

it was great unlocking stuff, and then getting check marks in all the challenges and story lines made me keep coming back and re-exploring characters. kept it real exciting.
now, on a more serious note, "does anyone have a strategy for beating convict's last stage?"

I do! :P Practice parrying so that you can stay airborne a lot of the time without getting hit a lot. That way, once you start juggling someone, you can keep damaging them without being smashed by the others. Try to take out samurai first. Only go for the pickups if they're halfway decent. Thanks for recognizing that it requires a strategy and that it's not just "impossible" like most people say :P
